NYX DIAMOND SPARKLE LIPSTICK: SPARKLING COPPER AND SPARKLING BEIGE

Hello Beautiful Ladies,
Today I will be reviewing 2 lip sticks from NYX; both of these belong to NYX’s diamond sparkle line. Personally I am not very fond of sparkles in my lip products but as it was from NYX and I love NYX products, I wanted to try them.

Packaging: NYX diamond sparkle lipsticks come in a square shaped packaging. Like other NYX lipsticks, these too come in all black packaging with a see through section in the bottom which helps to depict the actual color of the lipstick. I love this point as it really helps to select the desired lipstick from a huge stack especially when I am in a hurry.

Ingredients: A long list of ingredients is mentioned on the lipstick.

My take on the NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick Sparkling Copper and Sparkling Beige

Sparkling Copper is a shade of maroon which actually comes out to be more on a pinky side on lips. The lipstick has minute sized silver shimmer particles which make it shine like diamond. Sparkling Beige is less bold as compared to sparkling copper. It is also filled with shimmers but in this both silver as well as gold colored particles are visible. Both the lipsticks are highly pigmented; one swipe is enough to get the brightest color. The intensity of the color can easily be reduced by smudging the color with the help of a finger. Smudging also gives a beautiful tint of color to the lips and makes the sparkles even more visible.

Both these lip colors belong to the diamond sparkle line and hence are filled with sparkles. I don’t like sparkles on my lips, but I think that everyone must have at least one sparkly lipstick that can be used for special occasions. Both the lip colors are extremely creamy and special care has to be taken while applying them as they glide so smoothly that having complete control over the area of application becomes a little difficult. These lipsticks are super smooth and are extremely moisturizing too, but I still prefer to apply a lip balm underneath this, in order to avoid the shimmer particles getting and sticking into my fine lines.

The actually staying power of the color is not too great due to its creaminess, but as both the colors can stain the lips and both have shimmers, they do look visible for a longer time. Staining power of sparkling copper is a little greater than sparkling beige due to the difference in color. Thankfully these lipsticks are completely free of any kind of fragrance.

None of these lip colors can be used on a regular basis due to the amount of shimmer they have, but for parties, nothing can look better than a staining sparkly lipstick.

Would I buy NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick Sparkling Copper and Sparkling Beige again?

No! I loved these but as I said that they can only be used for parties, and not for daily use, 2 colors are enough for me.
Do I recommend NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick Sparkling Copper and Sparkling Beige?

Yes! If you do not have any sparkly lipstick in your collection and are looking for something, then this is definitely worth a try.
