I’m back to reviewing some eye shadows. I bought some NYX eye shadows to try out. Let’s see how they fare! 🙂
NYX’s Single Eye shadow is richly pigmented eye shadow in over 160 shades. Soft and silky NYX Single Eye shadows are great on their on their own or blended for a beautiful prism of colors. This top-selling eye shadow is formulated with the highest minerals for long-lasting wear.
My Experience with NYX ES 72A Light Green Eyeshadow:
Nyx single eye shadows comes in a cute little rectangular packaging. The front is transparent to help you see the shade clearly. It opens and shuts with an audible click. Once locked, it doesn’t open up if kept in your purse or handbag. I like the simple packaging.
‘Light Green’, the name says it all, is a pretty yellowish-green. When swatched, it looks more yellow than green. I like the pretty shade. It isn’t greatly pigmented, but you could work with it by building up the shade.
These eye shadows are really very soft and smooth. They are extremely finely milled and you can feel the quality as soon as you swipe the eye shadow. I love the texture! It does apply slightly patchy on the wrist, but it blends very easily.
It stays on my lids for 4-5 hours without a primer. A primer could extend the staying power by another 2-3 hours.
Summing up the pros and cons,
Pros of NYX ES 72A Light Green Eyeshadow:
• Nice and a different green shade
• Extremely smooth texture
• No fallout
• Nice packaging
• Decent staying power
• Blends very easily
Cons of NYX ES 72A Light Green Eyeshadow:
• The eye shadow needs to be built up to actually show properly on the lids
If not this shade, you should and you must try at least one eye shadow from this range. They are really good! 🙂
