Today I am reviewing an eye shadow from NYX. I like NYX products. I usually go to Ulta wanting to buy a specific eye shadow. But my store is always out of stock. So I would end up buying other products. So I bought this particular eye shadow randomly. Please continue to read to know about my experience with this eye shadow.

Packaging:

The eye shadow comes in classic black square pan with a transparent lid. The eye shadow is divided in 4 little squares. Package is pretty sturdy.

My experience with NYX eye shadow in deep bronze:

Color:

Deep bronze is such a pretty color. Initially I thought it going to be look muddy on the eyelids. But it goes light brown on my eyes with shimmer. It is a metallic bronze color. I use it all over my eyelids or just in the crease if I am using light color on my eyelids. It is suitable for everyday natural look.

Texture:
The texture of the eye shadow is buttery smooth. It glides on smoothly. The eye shadow is amazingly soft and blends well with other eye shadows.

Pigmentation:

The eye shadow is very well pigmented. One or two swipes are enough to get the color on your eyelids. The color shows up beautifully on your eyelids. Even without a primer, the color appears well on the eyelids.

Staying power:

The staying power of the eye shadow is really good. Without a primer, it stays on my eyes for three to four hours and then starts to crease and slowly disappear. With a primer, it doesn’t crease for seven to eight hours.

Overall this is great eye shadow to own. It could be worn during day or night. It gives a warm bronzy golden color on your eyes. During day, it could be worn for a natural look. For evening, it can be layered on the eyelids and combined with other colors for a dramatic eye look. It is a breeze to blend this color with other eye shadows. Only thing I do not like about the eye shadow is that the product crumbles inside the package. I need to handle the eye shadows carefully. Price wise, NYX eye shadows are not expensive.

Yes. I will definitely purchase this eye shadow. This is an amazing eye shadow for everyday use. Though all NYX eye shadows are not buttery smooth this eye shadow in particular is a good quality eyeshadow.
