My Experience with NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick Cashmere Silk:

Let’s start the review with the packaging of the product. The lipstick comes in a long and slender cylindrical transparent tube. It closes securely with a black-colored screw on type cap. The cap has a long applicator attached to it that helps to apply the color evenly on the lips. The shade name has been mentioned on the side of the tube. The tube is sleek and does not occupy much space in makeup pouch. Overall, the packaging is fairly simple and travel friendly.

NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick Cashmere Silk is a nice dusty mauve color, would suit fair to medium skin tones. This is a MLBB (my lips but better) shade for my skin tone, it just goes so well with my medium fair complexion. It sets to a perfect matte finish. It doesn’t contain any shimmer. The shade is quite pigmented and just needs a single stroke to come out opaque coverage. A second coat is needed even out the edges. It applies evenly on my lips and hides pigmented lips well. The lipstick is transfer-proof and smudge-proof as well. It is absolutely waterproof.

The texture of the lipstick is thick, creamy and mousse-like. Hence, it glides effortlessly on the lips without any dragging. It does not feel heavy or sticky on the skin. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. Being a matte lipstick, it does highlight the dry patches of the lips; so it is mandatory to properly prep the lips to achieve a smooth application. The formula is slightly drying on the lips, so I nourish my lips well before application.

The lasting power is amazing. It lasts easily for 6-7 hours on my lips without much fading and does also survive meal partially. It does not smear at all, survives heavy meal partially. It is easy to remove with a bi-phased makeup remover and does not stain the lips.
