This post has been long overdue but I have been so caught up with things that I just on shelving writing this. But I have been away from IMBB since very long now and I have missed it! So, here I am back with a post 🙂
I am sure you all remember the NYX sale that we had on IMBB a month back. Well, from that sale I had bought an NYX lipstick called LALA from Nikki and I intend reviewing it today.
I received the parcel within 5 days (if I remember correctly) and it came packed in a cute plastic container with a cuter note from Nikki 🙂
This is my first NYX lipstick ever and since I had heard so much about them, I just had to try them out and Man am I glad!!! This lipstick is just wonderful! It is so moisturizing and so nourishing to my lips that I instantly fell in love with them! I am going out and buying more shades for sure. The texture of the lipstick is super creamy and they leave lips feeling oh so smooth! The lipsticks are really buttery! 😀
This lipstick is highly pigmented and the shade is just too perfect for the Indian skintone. LALA has a mauvish-dull pinkish tone and it looks simply superb with my complexion. It is a shade or two darker than Maybelline’s Colorsensational lipstick in “Warm Me up”.
A con about the lipstick is that it has a very “cheap” smell. As in it smells like “Jasmine agarbatti” and trust me you dont want your lips smelling that 😛
Let me now summarize the pros and cons of this lipstick…
PROs of NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colors Lipstick LALA
• Super creamy texture
• Very moisturizing for the lips
• Pretty long stay
• Has loads of shades to choose from
CONs of NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colors Lipstick LALA
• Smell isn’t very appealing
• Smudges a lot
• Availability might be an issue in some cities. I know they are available in Pune and Mumbai though 🙂
In conclusion I would still like to stress on the fact that these are an amazing range of lipsticks and I wont be satisfied till I lay my hands on a dozen more shades 🙂
And Nikki please keep having NYX sales 😀

The color looks good on you Suma 🙂 I had got Chambor silk in silk pink which looks almost the same on me. It doesn’t suit me though.

Nyx lippies do have a soapy sorta smell, but honestly I dont find it unpleasant..The creaminess and pigmentation of their products r soooo good..M a total Nyx-lover for sure… 🙂
