May his soul rest in peace. Coming back to my product review, I had mentioned in my previous post that I’m going ga-ga over glitter products these days!  As I was looking out for a glitter eye liner, I came across this NYX Crystal liner and the color caught my attention.  I have been a NYX fan and loved them for their quality at a reasonable price. Read on to know if I fell in love with this NYX product or not.

Packaging:
The packaging of this product is very attractive. The see-through container shows the exact color and texture of the shade and it comes with an opaque black applicator handle. The brush is thin with long bristles and a pointed tip for a precise application.

How To Use:
Use applicator brush to line upper and lower lash lines carefully tracing the shape of the eye. Can be used with any NYX eye shadow, mascara, Special Effects or Fabulous Lashes.

My Views on NYX Liquid Crystal Liner – Crystal Jade LCL110:

I am a sparkle maniac 😛 As soon as my eyes fell on this lovely shade, I decided to add it to my collection. It is a beautiful jade shade and is perfect for party nights. I was waiting for a chance to try it on and finally the moment arrived. As soon as I applied it, I felt a burning, stinging sensation on my eyelids for a few seconds. I’m not sure if there is any ingredient in it that would cause irritation on the skin.

I decided to check the ingredients again and I noticed that on the twist cap, it says it’s not intended to be used around the eye area!! Not able to understand why it is not meant to be used around the eye area when it is an eyeliner? Well, the liner doesn’t apply smoothly over the lids and the shimmers aren’t distributed evenly. I had to apply at least 2-3 coats for an even and satisfactory result.

I even had a tough time removing it. While getting rid of them, the shimmers were all over my eyelids and lashes. It was tugging my skin when I tried to do away with it.

The only positive factor was the color. It is very attractive and suitable for your party makeup!

Overall, a complete disaster from NYX!!

Cons of NYX Liquid Crystal Liner – Crystal Jade LCL110:

• Difficult to apply.
• Takes time to settle down.
• Extremely difficult to remove.
• Not able to understand the statement “not intended to use around eye area.”

Would I Recommend/Repurchase NYX Liquid Crystal Liner – Crystal Jade LCL110?

NO NO NO! I won’t buy it again and honestly won’t recommend it to anyone. Since eye is a very delicate area, I don’t want anyone to take the risk!
