Foundation is the most important part of the makeup. I was looking for a daily wear foundation. I, like others, expect a lot from the foundation. I was looking for so many reviews to find out which one will be better. Fortunately, I came across NYX liquid foundation reviews. I was convinced up to some extent and something inside me instigated to take a chance as I like to do experiment.

It comes in 16 different shades, which means you have a variety of options to choose the “perfect shade” for your skin.  The 16 available shades are:

My Experience with NYX Liquid Foundation Makeup:

NYX liquid foundation makeup comes in a stout plastic bottle. There are so many shades available with pink and yellow undertones.  I went for the shade “Buff,” which is shade No. 3. It is one skin tone lighter, but I preferred this shade as I already have Catrice foundation (a German brand) in Nude shade. Shade Buff has yellow/pale undertones and I set the foundation with my compact which has rosy undertone. So this way, this shade is a perfect balance for a natural look.

The bottle reads “the best makeup I have ever used.” The shade number and name is mentioned on the bottle. It has a black translucent kind of cap. It carries a pump. This pump makes the bottle efficient as there is less possibility of wastage of the product. Now, comes the best part, its texture. The texture of the foundation is very light, like water. It is very lightweight and doesn’t clog pores. The blending power is great, it blends so well and due to its lightweight texture, it feels like you have not used anything on your face. It gives fair to medium coverage. It evens out the face without making it artificial. It gives a light and fresh look to the skin, does not make the face look cakey.  It has SPF 15 to protect your skin from sunlight. It has an odour which is a bit irritating and takes a few minutes to fade away.  The staying power is again average. It stays for 4-5 hours and then my T-zone starts to become oily.  Actually, it depends on the compact as well. If you set it with a compact, then it will stay well, especially if you have oily skin. I use compact so it gives me decent staying power even in humid weather. In normal weather or in winters, I expect better results.  Since I have not used it in winters, I can’t say how it performs in that weather, but overall, I am happy with it.

Pros of NYX Liquid Foundation Makeup:

• Blends very well.
• Contains SPF 15.
• Decent staying power.
• So many shades to choose from.
• Does not make face cakey or ghost like.

Cons of NYX Liquid Foundation Makeup:

• Price may an issue (available at fewer prices in many countries).
• Contains parabens.
• Irritating smell of the product.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase NYX Liquid Foundation Makeup?

Yes, you can try it if available at a lesser price.
