Hello beautiful ladies,
Happy belated friendship day to all…today I will be reviewing another shade from the NYX powder blush. The shade is called copper. The name actually tells about the kind of color it is, but when I saw it online it seemed to be a shade of peach so I ordered it. When I actually saw it at home I realized how wrong I was, it is not peach; actually it is very far from being peach. Copper is actually a metallic coppery shade which is a beautiful color for a bronzer.
Product quantity: 6.4g
Price: INR 650, but as it was on discount I got it for around INR 450.
The best part of ordering product online is that you can get it on discount, but it has a major drawback, the shade shown in the pictures can sometimes be way too different from the actual shade (the thing that happened to me in this case).
Packaging: Like all NYX single eye shadows, their blushes also come in a black square box, with a transparent lid. The lid is easy to open and sturdy enough to protect the blush from minor falls. (It cannot save the blush if the blush falls on the ground from a good height, in this case, the blush will get shattered into pieces). As the quantity of the blush is greater than the eye shadows, these are divided into 9 small squares (shadows have 4 little squares) with diagonal elevations. The overall look it gives to the blush makes it look cute.

My take on NYX Powder Blush Copper:
The company claims a lot of things from these blushes and I feel that almost every claim is true. Starting with the claim of rich pigmentation, the color is amazingly pigmented, and so care needs to be taken while applying it. I do not use this particular color as a blush, rather I use it as a bronzer, too much of the color can make the face look sculpted and thus it would look overdone. The color stays for a good amount of time. It easily stays up to 4-5 hours, without the need of touch ups, I feel that this is due to the type of color copper is. The blush is easy to use and blend. It is very smooth in texture and gives a metallic shine on the face. It is not an everyday color, but it surely is a good option for parties.
This particular product is meant to be a blush but the shade is so pretty that I think it would look stunning on the eyes too. I am not sure whether I can use it on my eyes or not, whether the formulation is safe or not, but I would surly try to find that out and if possible will use it on my eyes as a beautiful copper.
Pros of NYX Powder Blush Copper:
• Beautiful metallic coppery color
• Amazing pigmentation
• Good staying power
• Smooth to apply and easy to blend
• If safe to apply, will look beautiful as an eye shadow
• Not too overpriced, if compared with some other bronzers ( as it is more of a bronzer shade, I am comparing it with price of bronzers)
• Non- Comedogenic
• No animal testing
Cons of NYX Powder Blush Copper:
• Contains paraben
Although it is not the color I expected, but I still love what I got. I don’t find any other problem with this product.
Would I buy NYX Powder Blush Copper again?
I don’t use bronzers often, so it would take ages for me to finish this product and so I will not buy this color again but I would love to try some other shades if I get chance.
Do I recommend NYX Powder Blush Copper?
If you are looking for a metallic bronzy shade then this color is for you, otherwise not recommended.
