NYX Tan Enthusiasm Tango with Bronzing Powder Review

Today, I have come with a review of a product from NYX’s Tango with bronzing powder range. It is the shade in 05, Tan Enthusiasm. Now I went through a bronzer hoarding phase. I just had to buy this product when I saw it online. A good perk was that I got this product at 20% off and well, I took the plunge. Let’s see how this product has fared for me.

Price: INR 1200

Product Claims: It takes two to tango but just one of our brilliant bronzing powders to kick start your look. Our mosaic bronzer shades create a golden glow on the face and body—like you’ve just returned from a Caribbean getaway. Sun-kissed never looked this beautiful. This is a shimmering highlight with a deep pink shade.

My Experience with NYX Tan Enthusiasm Tango with Bronzing Powder:

The NYX Tango with bronzing powders come in a variety of shades-Confessions of a tanoholic,Bronze ensemble,Tribal odyssey,When leopard gets a tan and this variant, Tan enthusiasm one. I feel, of all the shades, this one is the lightest of all bronzers and borders on to be a bronzer +highlighter+ blusher. This is probably why I love this shade so much. Although, I can use only the highlighter and the swirl bronzer. The blushes just do not show on my skin. Even in swatches I have used 10 coats at least and still it is not visible!!

This bronzing powder has neat stripes of highlighter, dark bronzer, blusher in candy and warm deep pink. So each of these shades can be used individually or swirled together for a pinkish golden glow. The shimmer particles are golden and will go beautifully with bold western wear and Indian party wear looks. The shimmer is really finely milled and is not at all chunky.

The color payoff is really sheer. And this can make you either love or hate the product. For me, it actually is a blessing in disguise? I have a tendency to go heavy-handed with the products and then need to wash my face 😛 It is build-able from sun kissed cheeks to real drama bronze (if you use really a lot of product). It blends in easily and does not sit on the skin like some of the drugstore bronzers do.

It comes in a really handy compact mirror case with its own brush. So it is really easy to carry around to give the skin a quick pick me up. All in all, I do think this is a top notch product especially due to its versatility.

Pros of NYX Tan Enthusiasm Tango with Bronzing Powder:

• Fine milled golden shimmer that does not fall out nor is it chunky.
• Stripes of blush, highlighter and bronzer which allow it to be used individually or to be swirled together.
• Compact and sturdy packaging.

Cons of NYX Tan Enthusiasm Tango with Bronzing Powder:

• Pricey.
• Gives a golden bronzed look so not very versatile as far as bronzing goes.
• Brush is not that great.

Final Verdict: It’s a decent product which gives your skin a sun kissed glow. This will last me ages, so wouldn’t repurchase this one.
