We named this collection the Ultimate Shadow Palette because that’s exactly what it is—a pro-level palette packed with 16 high-performance eyeshadows and pressed pigments in a rainbow of tone-inspired shades. Available in four striking color combinations—Neutral-Cool, Neutral-Warm, Bright and Smokey/Highlight—each set features a vivid mix of velvety-rich textures and mesmerizing finishes that range from mattes and satins to shimmers and metallics.

My Experience with NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette Warm Neutrals:

Packaging:
NYX offers 16 different eyeshadows in this palette. The shadows come in a square black plastic packaging, which makes it slightly heavy to carry on a daily basis. I think the packaging could have been better. Plus, there is no mirror or applicator in the packaging.

Shades and Pigmentation:
There are 16 eyeshadows in this palette. Let’s check each one of them in detail:

First Row (L to R)
1 – It is a matte white shade which could be used for highlighting the brow bone or the inner corner of the eyes. Not very pigmented, though.
2 – It has a pale champagne colour to it with a little bit of shimmer.
3 – This is a matte peach shade; could be used as a transition colour.
4 – A shimmery golden colour, it can be used for both day as well as night looks.

Second Row (L to R)
5 – A matte shade with an earthy undertone; great for the crease.
6 – Has an orange undertone; a great shade for transition and to build up the eyeshadow.
7 – A rose gold colour; pigmentation is great.
8 – A medium deep warm brown colour.

Third Row (L to R)
9 – A beautiful mixture of orange and golden colour with amazing pigmentation and gorgeous shimmer.
10 – A well-pigmented matte shade with reddish-maroon undertones.
11 – Shimmery copper shade with good pigmentation.
12 – A matte, brown-toned red shade.

Fourth Row (L to R)
13 – A brown-bronze shimmery colour.
14 – Matte brown with orangish undertone.
15 – Shimmery bronze colour with good pigmentation.
16 – An intense black with brown undertones and amazing pigmentation.

Overall:
This palette offers a nice shade range and a good mixture of warm, soft and shimmery eyeshadows. The pigmentation of these eyeshadows is good, but the light colours don’t really stand out well. The palette also has transition shades and you can build up the colors for more intense looks. The shadows go on well without any primer but look more prominent with a primer.
