After trying some super bold and unique shades from the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick line, it’s now time for a subtle and more wearable shade. So, today, the lip color that I want to share with you all, is NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Vintage.

My Experience with NYX Vintage Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick:
Packaging: The NYX Liquid Suede lipstick comes in a chubby plastic tube which is colour coded to the shade of the lipstick. All other details about the product are mentioned on the tube in black. The tube comes wrapped in a protective plastic paper with some perforation for opening. The cap of the tube is black contains a flat sponge tip application wand.
Color: “Vintage” is a bright warm-toned maroon shade with mauve-y undertones. This shade is absolutely gorgeous and can be worn as per liking. The tube of this lip colour looks a lot darker and scary than the actual shade of the lipstick. I am not too sure if everyone is going to like this shade, but this baby sure has a safe place in my vanity! This shade will suit most Indian skin tones I believe.
Pigmentation: This lip cream is intensely pigmented and delivers full colour payoff in just one swipe on the hand. But while applying on the lips, the application is a bit streaky in the first swipe and it needs some more to cover that up for an even application. The shade gives enough coverage to hide pigmented lips as well.
Texture: The texture of this lip colour is super creamy and feels very buttery like cake frosting. This baby is not as watery or drying as standard liquid lipsticks and also does not contain any shimmer or shine. They are ideally supposed to be matte, but even after a few minutes of application, it does not dry completely, but remains creamy. Hence I prefer topping it off with translucent powder to mattify and prevent any transfer of lip product.
Longevity: The staying power of this lipstick is around 5-6 hours after which it starts fading unevenly. If you want to wear this lipstick for the whole day, you need to have this baby handy for re-application; else it will give a shabby look to the lips. Since it does not dry down completely, it does transfer to cups and mugs.

- Applies streaky in one swipe.
- Not waterproof.
- Not available in India.

I will sure recommend this Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick to liquid lipstick lovers. Almost all makeup brands have come out with their own version of liquid lipsticks and this will be delightful addition to your makeup stash. If you like experimenting with bold colours, then go for it ladies else you can try out some “safe” colour from this range!
