My Experience with NYX Whipped Cream Hot Singles Eye Shadow:

The packaging of these eye shadows are very cute. The eye shadow comes in a small black colored plastic pan. The pan has a flip top cap, which closes very securely making a click sound. The cap of the eye shadow pan is transparent from the center and has the brand’s tagline printed on it. The clear top helps to easily spot the shade. There is a cute little bow on the opening side of the lid, which adds beauty to this little baby. There is a sticker on the base of this pan bearing some important product related information. There is nothing fancy or luxurious about the packaging. It is very basic yet easy to store and carry.

The shade “Whipped Cream” is a matte white colored eye shadow. It is a pure white eye shadow with a perfect matte finish and without any sheen or shimmers. It can be used with other eye shadows to create a creative eye makeup looks. It is a basic color and you may use your imagination to create variety of makeup looks with this eye shadow. It works as a great base eye shadow to amp up bright colors.

The texture of this eye shadow is soft and smooth. But, it causes a little fall out in the pan, while picking up the eye shadow. It glides effortlessly on the eyelids and it is really easy to blend. There is a creamy feel in its texture and it does not cause any dragging of the eyelids. The formula is so pigmented and gives nice coverage. It is easily buildable on the eyelids and never gets patchy.

The longevity of the eye shadow is somewhere around 4-5 hours on my eyelids with an eye primer underneath. Overall, I am really not impressed with the longevity of this eye shadow. Using an eye primer is a must to last the eye shadow longer.
