Well, it’s Christmas time again, and like always this time round the year, red is so in. 😀 Unfortunately, even though the colour is always trending the charts – finding a classy red nail paint is not an easy task. This is a colour that can easy switch from being all classy and gorgeous to gaudy and cheap. While, many brands have their own version of red to suit every taste and price range. Today, I am about to review Big Apple Red from the house of OPI. Yes, one of the most reputed nail paint brands around the world. My Experience with O.P.I. Big Apple Red Nail Lacquer:

OPI Big Apple Red is one the most wanted shades worldwide. This shade has actually made it’s name in the most sort after red’s. In fact, if you are a true red nail paint lover, – I am sure you must have heard about this name. Honestly, I am in love with this red. It looks so posh. OPI claims that the nail paint is long lasting and trust me this really is! It gives a very neat and professional look. Another thing I like about this color is that it looks really charming on the toe nails too. I specifically mentioned this, because not every nail paint adorn both the finger and the toe nails. All in all this shade is absolutely gorgeous. I don’t remember a time when I have not been complimented about it.

I would say, this shade looks nice on everyone, irrespective of your skin colour- at least in my opinion. I have seen pale, dark skinned, fair, wheatish complexion ladies wearing it, and I have absolutely liked it on everyone. Having said this, I know many people don’t think this way, but honestly it’s all about perception. So without digging further into the topic, I would let you be the judge, regarding, whether this colour is meant for you or not! Also, this nail paint dries super quick – another reason you got to love it! 😀

Pros of O.P.I. Big Apple Red Nail Lacquer:

•  Well Pigmented – Colour Rich.
•  Smooth Finish.
•  Super Quick Dry.
• High Gloss Finish.
•  Does Not Streak.
•  Lasts long (More than a week or so without chipping).
•  All season colour!

 

Cons of O.P.I. Big Apple Red Nail Lacquer:

•  Expensive – You can get this one for AUD 15- 20 in Australia, US, UK.
  In India, the price can vary from Rs. 700 (Homeshop 18) to Rs. 2450 .
•  Hard to take off – My nail paint remover really have to work hard to get the red marks away from my fingers! 😀

Yes!, this is my 3rd bottle and I don’t think I will ever get enough of this one.
