My Experience with O3+ Plunge Radiance Face Wash:

This face wash is mainly formulated for skin that has spots and looks dull due to uneven skin tone and reduced brightness. Let’s talk about the packaging first which is the main attraction for this range of skin care products.

Packaging: The face wash comes packed in a colourful pink themed plunge signature print. It has prints of flamingos, trees and fruits on the outer packaging as well as on the body of the tube. So, the theme looks quite tropical and is very eye catching. The face wash tube comes inside an outer cardboard packaging and has a white cap on it. The hole in the tube dispenses the right amount of product for usage. The packaging is leak-proof, so it can be easily carried around. All the product details are mentioned on the body of the tube itself. The packaging is very sturdy. Overall, I love the how the brand has themed their packaging. It is quite unique.

Coming to the price point, the plunge range is not very pricey. Some of the products cost a little on the heavier side, but I think you will find products in this range that fall in the middle budget range. For this face wash, I think the price is quite affordable.

Colour: This face wash is colourless and has a gel like consistency. I love gel based face washes. They feel quite gentle on your skin and don’t rip your skin off the moisture.

Fragrance: The odour of this face wash is very pleasant. It has a bubblegum kind of fragrance and I find the fragrance very refreshing. The smell is not very overpowering to the senses. This fragrance does not linger around after you have washed your face. So, I’m sure it will not be a concern for people with sensitive noses too.

Consistency: The product has a thin, gel like consistency. It does not have thick texture, rather the consistency is quite runny and you have to be careful while squeezing out the product to prevent unwanted wastage. It lathers well but it is not super foamy. You would need a coin sized amount to cleanse your skin properly.

The best thing about the Plunge range is that it is free from use of harsh chemicals and is all naturally made. I was quite intrigued by the ingredient list of this face wash. It has all the ingredients that are vital if you are looking for a brightening face wash. It is enriched with extracts of Clementine Orange and Grapefruit, which provide the purest form of Vitamin C. This will inhibit melanin production which is responsible for skin darkening and also help your skin get a radiant glow.

Since this face wash is formulated with natural ingredients and is paraben free, it is completely safe to use it. It is ideal for all types of skin. If you want that radiant glow at the comfort of your home, this range is a good one.

How I use it: At first, I wet my face. I take a coin sized amount of this product and apply it on my face. I massage it in circular motions for about 5 minutes so that the natural extracts get penetrated into the skin properly and show the best results. Following that, I wash my face with lukewarm water. Even though this face wash is quite gentle on the skin, still if you want to hydrate your skin, you can follow up with any moisturiser.

Results: I have used this face wash quite a few times and I must say that I’m quite impressed with the output. From the very first application, I began noticing the results. The gel like consistency was so gentle on my skin. It unclogged pores and removed dirt and impurities. It uplifted my mood. My face felt squeaky clean post using this. As a result, I found my skin looked brighter and more radiant. You get that instant glow in your face. This face wash provides my skin with healthy nutrients of Vitamin C that makes my skin feels smoother, softer and suppler.

Usually, most of the face cleansers don’t provide good hydration and tend to make the skin stretchy. My skin is prone to dry patches if the cleanser does not suit me well. However, using this face wash did not make my skin dry. It is highly suitable for dry skin beauties. Does it brighten the skin?? Yes, to some extent it causes instant brightening.

I cannot claim on the complete removal of uneven skin tone right now. I would not say that this evens out skin tone from the very first application, but if you use it religiously on a regular basis it will help you to get the desired results. Its natural ingredient list does its job perfectly in reducing the dullness from your skin and bringing back that natural glow in no time. The rejuvenating smell of tropical fruits made me feel super fresh.
Overall, as a brightening face wash, it cleans my skin deeply and eliminates dirt and dust effectively. My skin looks so clean and radiant and the effect lasts for 2-3 days. It has suited me well and did not break me out. I am quite happy with the results.

Overall: This face wash can be incorporated in the daily skin care routine as a mild and gentle face cleanser. It has all the right ingredients and works well as a brightening face wash.
