My Experience with O3+ Plunge Watermelon Brightening Serum:

This serum comes in a transparent, glass bottle that closes with a dropper. In order to take out product, you have to use the dropper. The mechanism is mess-free but looks delicate. I personally prefer a pump-type dispenser as it helps to have better control over product. Since the bottle is transparent, you can keep an eye on the amount of product left in the bottle. Talking about the price point, I feel this serum is a bit expensive considering only 10 gm is provided.

The texture of O3+ Plunge Watermelon Brightening Serum is very lightweight, it’s transparent and gel-like. It is a light pink fluid which sinks into the skin without leaving any greasy residue. The fragrance of this serum is very pleasant and mild. It feels like fresh watermelon essence and I like it. Only a small pump of this product is sufficient to cover the entire face. I take about 4-5 drops of this product using the dropper and dab it on my face directly with the dropper. Avoid taking the product in your hands as it might lead to product wastage. It spread evenly without much effort on the skin. This is a fast-absorbing serum which penetrates into the skin very fast. It preps skin and creates a smooth base for makeup application.

Just like most facial serums out there, O3+ Plunge Watermelon Brightening Serum supplies skin with a huge dose of nourishment and hydrates skin in the first application itself. It doesn’t feel sticky at all and has a lightweight feel to it. My skin feels radiant after using this serum. With regular use, my skin has become soft and supple. The texture of my skin has also improved. I have used some facial serums which broke out on my skin, but luckily, this serum did not clog facial pores. So, it is good for acne-prone skin as well. During winters, it would not be enough to take care of the dryness.

Talking about the claims of this product, it claims to even out the skin tone, but I did not see any effect on my skin tone. This doesn’t perform any specific action with respect to skin brightening. I can’t comment if it works on fine lines as my skin doesn’t have such signs. This serum is best to be used at night time before going to sleep. I keep it overnight and the next day, I wake up with fresh skin. When used with the O3+ Plunge Watermelon Mask, this serum gives better result.

Summing up, this is a hydrating serum, works well as part of night-time skincare routine. My skin feels fresh and glowing in the morning. The quantity provided is less and wouldn’t last long.
