Hello sweethearts,

Hope you are all doing great. Today, I am going to review one of the blushes from an Instagram-famous makeup brand “Ofra Cosmetics”. Let’s see how their super pigmented pressed blush “Raisin” fared for me.

My Experience with Ofra Pressed Blush Raisin:

Ofra Pressed Blush Raisin Review Box

The packaging of this blush is sleek and simple. It comes packaged in a small round black compact with a clear lid. The brand name is embossed in silver on the top. The blush name is present on the bottom of the compact. There is also an outer cardboard box in black and dirty green color. I personally don’t like this color combination; it is dirty. When we open the blush compact, way down there is another compartment at the bottom with a mirror; I was hoping that there will be an applicator here, but there wasn’t. This is an average packaging. I don’t like the fact that the mirror is under the blush compact as it is difficult to use the mirror each time when we use the blush. Moreover, the mirror is so tiny that it doesn’t even show a single cheek. I am not a fan of this packaging; it could have been better for the price we pay.

Ofra offers a huge variety of shades in their blush collection. They have almost 18 shades and these include regular pinks, peaches and also some unique brown and red shades. The shade “Raisin” is a warm mocha reddish brown with a slight orange undertone. It is the darkest colored blush that I have ever owned. This color also works like a bronzer as it gives a beautiful summer flush to the skin. This product looks like a matte blush, but when we see it closely, we can actually see a slight sheen on the pan but this sheen is so subtle that it doesn’t show on the skin and the blush does give a matte finish on the skin.

This blush has a unique consistency and texture. The powder is finely milled and gives a powdery satin finish. “Raisin” is seriously one of the most pigmented blushes I have ever used; it is very strong and gives a bang on color. Seriously, you only need like a dab on your brush. Just one dab goes such a long way. This product blends beautifully and adds a nice pop of color. The super pigmentation of the blush also creates a problem; I always pick up more product, no matter whatever brush I use and this results in an intensely blushed cheek. So, each time, I used this blush, I need to tone it down again with a blender or a compact powder. One more thing, there is also a bit of powder fall out.

This blush has an amazing longevity. It stays all day long without moving. The intensity stays fresh and strong even when I am removing my makeup after a long day. It has beaten my “The Balm” blushes in staying power and I am hugely impressed with this factor.

Ofra Pressed Blush Raisin Review Swatch

Overall, this is a super pigmented, highly long-lasting, versatile blush. Though it may have some flaws, the pros of this product stand high and I will say that it is one of the best blushes in my collection.

Pros of Ofra Pressed Blush Raisin:

• Warm reddish mocha color
• Works like a bronzer and an eyeshadow
• Matte finish with a slight sheen
• Insane pigmentation
• Blends well
• Long-lasting

Cons of Ofra Pressed Blush Raisin:

• Average packaging; tiny mirror at the back, no brush provided
• Bit of a powder fall out
• Super pigmentation makes the brush pick up more product than necessary
• Toning down the product post the application is necessary
