I may seem like a crazy fan of hair care stuff, but I can’t help it as I love experimenting with my hair and I can be crazy at times! I can proudly say that I have tried almost all well-renowned hair care brands. From Kerastase to Sunsilk or from Giovanni to TBS; I have tried almost all types of shampoo, conditioners, hair mask and other styling products. Today, I am back with my favourite hair care brand Organix. I always have a chubby bottle of shampoo or conditioner from this lovely brand on my bathroom shelf, this brand has rarely let me down and I always love this brand for all it is. Their ingredients, packaging, fragrances and affordability is just so perfect. Today, I will be reviewing OGX Quenching Coconut Curls – Curling Hair Butter. So, let me start.

My Take on OGX Quenching Coconut Curls Curling Hair Butter:

Packaging: The hair butter-cum-leave in-cum body moisturiser comes in a jar with a golden screw cap. The overall looks and appeal of the product is very attractive and enticing. The turquoise, golden and orange accents works in the favour of the actual product. The jar has a picture of coconut and honey along with all the necessary information about the hair butter.

Smell and Consistency:  This multi-tasking product has a beautiful aroma like all the other OGX products. I can describe the smell as something close to a vanilla-coconut combination. This sweet-smelling butter has a smooth, whipped cream consistency, which is light and airy.

Let me tell you this first, I have used this butter strictly on my hair. I couldn’t use it on my body as I simply didn’t feel like doing so 😉

Well, I have used it both like a leave-in and as a deep moisturizing mask for my hair and I can conclude that it works best as a leave-in. The texture of the hair butter is too light to use it as a hair mask. Post wash, I use a coin-sized amount of this butter and spread it on my damp hair. This is indeed a butter, it simply melts onto my strands and melts enough to leave my hair smooth, soft, and so very moist. My hair looks so beautiful and touchably soft.

This butter efficiently controls frizz and tames down those adamant flyways that make us look messy 😛 This is meant for curly hair, but it works on all hair types very well. The effects are just brilliant. I found relief in this butter for my hair this winter. Grab this girls!

Yes, I will highly recommend this product as it acts as an oil-in-cream infusion for hair protecting it from external damage. For me, I would surely keep this product safe for winters.
