  1. Hi Aishwarya,
No matter if your hair are oily please apply hairoil. I have the same kind of oily scalp but I apply hairoil atleast once a week…
for dandruff you can try lemon in coconut oil and keep it for 1 hour and then rinse with shamoo..

  2. same hair type minus dandruff…. try head and shoulders dry scalp (menthol) one – alternatively….oil your hair once a week – try bajaj almond drops oil ( is lighter version).

  3. First things first, treat the dandruff on your scalp! Use a medicated shampoo which contains ketoconazole around 2%…for eg. Johnson n Johnson Nizral.
After your dandruff is fully treated, start oiling your hair overnight or at the very least an hour or so before your hair wash. Use a natural oil like olive, coconut etc. Try to stay away from oils that contain mineral oil as their major ingredient.
    Hope this helps. 🙂

  4. I have a similar problem … 2 months back my stylist recommended me Schwarzkof Hair+Scalp Deep Cleansing Shampoo and it really changed my life. Oiliness is going slowly but my dandruff flew away! It’s really amazing! Try it I’m sure you’ll see the results in a week or two!

  5. First wash your hair with shampoo to make sure your scalp is clean
Next day, apply warm coconut oil and massage a bit. This will ensure the goodness of coconut oil works on the hair roots….wash hair after 30 minutes. no need to keep the oil for more than an hour
Use 1 tbsp lemon juice and mix it in mug full of water… pour this on your hair at the last wait for a couple of minutes wash it away with an another mug of water or two.. Lemon will lessen the dandruff problem to an extent and also add shine but be sure to wash it off with water as mentioned..keeping lemon residue on scalp until next wash might not be a good idea
Use a live-in conditioner (like silk n shine) only to the tips to tame the frizz.

    Few points to remember-
-make sure you are not using hot water on hair… this leads to frizz, dry scalp, overproduction of sebum making them oily and hair breakage… use normal water or bit on colder side if u can bear….
-dont rub your hair with towel…let them air dry naturally…just soak the extra water from hair to avoid dripping
    – i dont think in-shower conditioner will be good in your case as it will make the scalp more oily..instead use leave-in conditioner

Make hair mask from soaked n grounded methi seeds to fight dandruff.
wash your hair every 2-3 days …do the oil massage once a week.. dont apply oil if u r washing hair after it has become very oily… as the scalp might be blocked n no oil will nourish the roots then

  6. Dear,
You do need to oil hair, you can use almond oil (Patanajli is good one,) or olive oil or even dabur amla oil. Oil it thoroughly and massaged your scalp with ur fingers tips, avoid nails though. Let it sit for 40-45 mins and wash your hair regularly, remember to dilute shampoo in little water. Dont wash your hair abrasively. Once a week after regular massage, you can steam towel your hair. Just soak a towel in little warmer water and dip the towel, wring out the towel and wrap in ur head for 5 minutes, do this for 3-4 times or you can also opt for good hair massage with steam at local parlour.. https://makeupandbeauty.com/cantharidine-hair-oil-review/ This oil might be helpful for dandruff esp in winters
