My Experience with Olay Anti-Wrinkle Provital Mature Skin Day Fluid SPF 15:
When it comes to anti-ageing creams, Olay has created a benchmark in the skincare industry and when I went to purchase an anti-ageing cream, I knew that Olay would come to my rescue. I picked this product because it was tailor-made for women with mature skin who are in their early 50s and are already dealing with ageing issues.
The packaging is simple. The lotion comes in a box with all the information printed on it. The bottle is cream in color with a black cap; typical Olay packaging. The lotion is creamy and has a slight yellowish tint to it. It has a very pleasant smell. The hole in the bottle dispenses the liquid and you can control the amount of the lotion by squeezing the bottle gently.
The product when applied on the face gets absorbed instantly without leaving any greasy residue. The lotion also has an SPF 15 and even though it isn’t great for sun protection, it works well when you are staying indoors. The lotion nourishes and hydrates the skin. You can notice how supple the skin gets within 2-3 days of usage. It also provides intense moisturization and you do not feel any dryness even in the harshest weathers! The lotion makes the skin extremely soft and smooth and supple. After using it for 2 weeks, I have noticed that the fine lines are disappearing and the skin is regaining its natural look.
There is a lot of difference in the skin tone as the lotion evens out the skin tone. The product doesn’t cause any breakouts nor causes any irritation. It has reduced the fine lines considerably. I would always suggest you do a patch test before application. Even though it gets absorbed like a calamine lotion, the texture can be a little odd to use during the initial days when compared to the creamy ones, but once you are used to it, there is no looking back. The product is specifically formulated for mature skin. Considering the ingredients, it is a strict No-No product for women of age 40-45. Even though it has amazing benefits, it can do more harm than good! So, use wisely.
