Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash Review

Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash

Hello lovelies!

I am gravitated towards products that are organic, natural or something herbal or botanical. I want something that brings me close to nature. It makes me feel safer, as nature derived ingredients are used on it and I like them for being simple. For most beauty products, the simpler, the more I like. When I found something botanical from Olay, I was like, oh my I must try!Ladies, let me share with you my review on Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash.

My Take on Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash:

Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash comes in a cream plastic bottle with green cap and a whole right on the top area. It is unique among other Olay Body Washes I usually see in stores. Each bottle has 450 ml of product in it. The product itself is cream in color and very easy to spread on skin but does not lather as much as other body baths I tried. It is easy to rinse off and my skin feels soft and smooth after wash. It leaves the skin feeling moisturized which I truly like. Other soaps or body washes I used instantly dry out my skin after bath and others make my skin scaly! But with this Olay Botanical Fusion, I don’t see that happening on my skin.

I am very much satisfied with the way it cares for dry skin especially during the winters. This is something I can trust in this kind of weather that is brutal to the skin. It must be the soy oil component and the patchouli. Both were known to have wonderful benefits to the skin. Soy oil for instance is known to improve skin tone reduces blotchiness and wrinkles aside from the fact that it is a very good moisturizer. Patchouli on the other hand, is used in perfumes and its oil is known helpful in relieving dry and cracked skin.

Though soy oil and patchouli are good to the skin, their scent present in this Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash is something that does not excite me at all. There are scents which really makes me look forward to my next bath. I’d say I like the scent of patchouli which I think is a unisex scent, earthy scent. But the hint of soy oil, it is something I do not like in my body wash. Good thing, the scent isn’t so strong and it does not last long on skin too.

What I Like About Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash:

-It has lots of product in it.
-Nature inspired.
-It does not lather much. I believe those that don’t lather are more moisturising.
-Does not irritate the skin.
-It is non-drying.
-Skin is soft and smooth post usage.
-Affordable. I got my bottle for $4 on sale.

What I Don’t Like About Olay Botanical Fusion Body Wash:

-I am not fan of the scent.
-It irritates my face when I absent-mindedly washed my face with this. My facial skin is sensitive.
Final Thoughts:
This is one good botanical body wash that helps retain skin moisture. I don’t find the scent bad at all. It is just that, it isn’t my cup of tea.

  1. That seems like a nice organic one *happy dance* but here we hardly have 5-6 body washes from them and i have used most of them *hihi* *hihi* they are pretty good at keeping the skin hydrated *pompom* *pompom*

    1. Hi Saloni, I tried those reviewed here too and I agree, Olay makes very good body washes! *thankyou* *thankyou*

  2. Organic products may cause skin irritation because many of the natural ingredients are harmful for sensitive skin as sensitive skin and acne prone skin needs more care dan other skin types 🙂
    Nice review 😀

    1. Hi Ida! Patchouli doesnt entice me to take my next bath. Hehe. Me too, the moment I saw those diffusers, I feel like I need to take them home. *thankyou*
