Skin type: oily-combination, gets weirdly dry in winters
I am reviewing Olay Essentials Complete Care Night Cream today. I had purchased this cream a few months ago for use in the spring season. It’s the time when my skin goes through a transition phase from dry to oily/oily-combination. Since I had IMBB points in hand, I got this cream sponsored. Why I went for Olay? Because Olay, despite being a drugstore brand, is trustworthy and suits my skin when it comes to night creams. Olay Essentials Complete Care Night Cream for Normal/Dry/Combination Skin caught my eyes because of two reasons: it has niacinamide and it’s for both dry and combination skin types.

My Experience with Olay Essentials Complete Care Night Cream for Normal/Dry/Combination Skin:
Olay Essentials Complete Care Night Cream comes in a typical milky white Olay jar with a black lid. All product related details are printed on the card box packaging. I actually like their packaging and it’s sturdy and travel-friendly.
Quickly moving to the formula, the texture is soft and luxurious. It’s slightly creamy but not at all greasy or oily. The best part about the texture is that it gets absorbed fast. It leaves the skin instantly soft and hydrated without feeling heavy on the skin.
It feels like you have applied nothing on your skin yet a little quantity goes a long way. The ingredient list doesn’t include parabens, which is a big plus. Also, the moisturiser hasn’t broken me out, though I am going through my early 30s acne phase these days.
Talking about the results, not miraculous but noteworthy. I wasn’t using any night cream or serum when I started with Olay. It’s a bad habit to skip night care regime but I am so lazy at the end of the day. With first application, I was more than happy to see myself in the bathroom mirror the next morning. 😀 My skin looked fresh, healthy and radiant.
I could see somewhat even and markedly brighter complexion. My skin felt soft and non-greasy – ideal condition for anyone, isn’t it? But to sustain these results, religious usage is the key. And lastly, the fragrance is exotic. It’s not a plus, though, as skincare or haircare products should be fragrance-free.
