My Experience with Olay Night of Olay Firming Cream:

The Olay Night Of Olay Firming Cream comes a white tub which has a black-colored screw top cap. The tub is not fully opaque and looks pink due to the light pink-colored cream inside. The packaging is simple and effective. The tub comes in a pink-colored box which mentions the ingredients and other product details. The tub has an inner lid to avoid spillage and that makes this product very travel friendly.

This night cream is light pink in color and it’s not thick or runny. It is of medium consistency. It spreads well and gets absorbed easily. I don’t have to rub vigorously for it to get absorbed into the skin. It sinks into the skin in just a couple of strokes.

Since this is a night cream, it should be able to repair the skin and rejuvenate the same in addition to hydrating and moisturizing the skin which a basic moisturizer does. This night cream does hydrates my skin, but the amount of hydration doesn’t seem to be enough for my dry skin in these winters. The harsh winters at my place where average temperature nowadays is around -10 degrees, and the heating setup sucks away all the moisture from the skin, my cream needs to be very hard working!

This cream is moisturizing in nature, but it’s not enough for my skin. It is not hydrating enough for my skin. I have to use double the quantity and most of the times I tend to go over my dry areas twice or thrice, but still, my skin does not feel hydrated enough. 🙁 It still does not feel quenched. However, when more quantity is used, in the morning, I wake up with a thin, oily layer on my face. 🙁 I guess, this would be a good night cream for summers, but it’s not meant for harsh extreme weather conditions.

I used it for around 20 days, but couldn’t see any difference in fine lines and wrinkles. Honestly, I did not see much difference in my skin. It did not make any difference to my pores either 🙁 However, it did not break me out and my sensitive skin did not feel any discomfort.

The cream also has a very strong fragrance, it’s a bit floral but has a strong chemical stench to it. I do not mind fragrance in my products, but this one I absolutely detest. I immediately scrunch my nose 😛 The smell stays for a few seconds, but gets intolerable for these few seconds too.

Pros of Olay Night of Olay Firming Cream:

• Did not break me out.
• Nice texture.
• Gets absorbed easily into the skin.

Cons of Olay Night of Olay Firming Cream:

• Not hydrating enough for very dry skin.
• Very strong fragrance.
• Not enough hydrating for my dry skin.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Olay Night of Olay Firming Cream?
Overall, I felt that it is just an average moisturizer. I think this cream would work well for those with normal skin, but if you are someone who does not like fragrance in their skin care, stay far away from this. I would try to finish the jar I have. Even if this cream would have been a star performer for me, I would not repurchase it due to its strong, intolerable fragrance.
