Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum
I will talk about the latest eye cream which I have started using a few days back. It is hard to ignore Madhuri when she claims ‘Challenge what’s possible!’ so much so that my mom bought this for me. I strictly avoid buying products tested on animals but then I have to use this one up. Leaving my apprehensions aside, I would give you an honest review of this serum.
I apply this every night, you might apply this in day too but I like using gels during the day, that is just about personal preferences. This serum can be applied day and night.
Price: 899 INR
Packaging: This comes in an elegant ivory tube with a nozzle, which is good because it controls the amount taken out, I would not like wasting any of my products!
My take on Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum:
The product is cream in color, looks pearly in finish. Overall, in cosmetic parameters, this eye serum fares well but what about the performance you ask? Okay let me explain the real factors of this eye serum below, when we pay fat money to brands we are not much impressed only by the look of the product, it really matters how they work.
As far as moisturizing is concerned, this is one of the best eye creams I have tried so far. This is not oily or sticky; it just gives a velvety finish to the eye area. The best thing about non-oily eye creams is that they do not affect the makeup in any way.
I have noticed a firmness in my under or better yet, around eye area. Sadly, it does nothing for the dark circles which is a major concern for me as I am an IT professional and cannot avoid staring at the computer screen for hours. I have tried the ‘Wunder eye cream’ and I find it better than this as it moisturizes as well as works on the dark circles.
One more plus point for this is that it did not cause any allergies or itchiness to the eyes. I wear contact lenses and pay a lot more attention to the products I use on my skin and this has got a pass from me in this regard.
Let me brief the pros and cons below:
Pros of Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum:
• It moisturises the area around eyes well
• Is not sticky, gives a velvety finish
• Is easily available
• Works on fine lines
• A little quantity is required for a single use
• Does not cause any irritation or allergy
Cons of Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum:
• Does not work on dark circles
• Olay tests on animals! In this age, when it has been proved that the products tested on animals are not considered safe for humans still some brands continue to torture the poor souls.
Keeping my views about animal testing aside, I can say that this is a good eye cream if you do not have dark circles to deal with. For the price I pay for this, I expected it to perform better. It is a good eye cream/ serum but certainly not the best available in market. I have used Wunder eye cream and it worked for me. I would be returning to it after I finish this.
I hope you found the review useful.
