I am here to review another body wash from the same collection of Olay Outlast. I have already used & reviewed Olay Fresh Outlast Invigorating Champagne Mango and White Ginger Body Wash. So let’s see how this one works..

My Experience with Olay Soothing Orchid & Black Currant Fresh Outlast Body Wash:

Packaging: The body wash comes in a standard white plastic bottle with a flip open cap. This kind of packaging is pretty much the same across other Olay body washes. As the bottle is not see through, it is difficult to know the quantity of the product left after using it for a while. Considering only this one flaw, the overall packaging is quite sturdy .The back of the bottle contains all the ingredient list & description about the product. There is a beautiful picture of orchids in the front.

Formula: The consistency of the formula is medium thick. The color of the body wash is exactly the same as the cap of the bottle which is a combination of blue & violet.

This is one of the new Olay body washes in which they have incorporated lesser sulfates & chemicals. In the description they have mentioned that they have designed it to work with your natural skin pH level. With all these new changes, it does feel smooth & moisturizing on the skin. It lathers up well & does the cleaning job pretty well too. It doesn’t leave the skin dry & itchy which is so good in this dry summery weather.

Fragrance: This is my favorite part of this body wash.I just love the mesmerizing fragrance of this wash which is floral & sweet. It feels like you are in a garden full of flowers. It’s a highly fragranced body wash & you can smell it on your body even after a few hours. I am not sure if sensitive noses will like it. Like the product says, it awakens your senses with its soothing scents. This body wash smells like heaven in a bottle. I love orchids, I also have a small orchid plant in my bathroom near my bathtub & with this body wash, I feel that I am surrounded by orchid trees everywhere. It’s a refreshing addition to the daily shower routine.
