Olay is known as the number 1 anti-ageing skin care brand and there are several products under the range. I have seen many anti-aging creams from various brands but never a face wash, and that is what tempted me to buy this face wash. Read on to find out more about it.

Total Effects Anti-Ageing Face Wash combines VitaNiacin with gentle microbeads to reveal fresher, radiant and younger looking skin. It cleanses by gently lifting away dirt, oil and makeup. It renews and reveals by gently lifting away dull, dry skin to start fighting the seven signs of ageing. Skin becomes noticeably softer and smoother the minute you cleanse. For best results, use every time you cleanse.
Usage:
For younger looking skin, use daily, mornings and evenings, moisten face with water and massage gently product onto face then rinse with water. For optimal results, follow with a day or night moisturiser from the Olay Total Effects range.
Packaging:
This face wash comes in a fuss-free plastic tube with a flip-top cap. It is very convenient to use and carry. The cap is quite secure and hence there is no chance of product leakage, making it travel-friendly.
My Experience with Olay Total Effects Age Defying Face Wash:
This face wash is white in colour and has a thick and creamy texture which spreads very easily. I find it a little difficult to spread on a dry face than a damp one. I have noticed that a few creamy face washes stick to your skin and you must rub your skin to remove the product.
This one doesn’t really create bubbles, but it spreads completely and evenly on the skin. So, it is easy to spread, massage and wash off. My skin feels radiant and squeaky clean without feeling stretchy. The best part is that it has very mild exfoliating beads, so it’s a double whammy.
It also works well as a makeup remover and removes every bit of makeup. I have a sensitive and oily skin, so I am very particular about the skincare products I use. Luckily for me, this didn’t break me out and my skin now feels plumper after the wash. There is a mild fragrance, which is neither good nor disturbing (not sure how to describe it).
I have been using it twice a day and it is working well for me. My skin isn’t really mature enough to know the age defying effects though. So far, it is working as a nice face wash that plumps up my skin and gives it a youthful look.
