Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing Eye Cream Review

Today, I will be reviewing an eye cream from Olay which I got for my mom a few months back. I noticed that her dark circles were getting worse and she was developing wrinkles around her eyes.  No matter how much I request her, she doesn’t take care of her skin or under eye area at all. She loves almost all Olay products and I thought if I get an eye cream from Olay, there are chances she might use it because she trusts this brand. So, here I am with its review.

My Mom’s Experience with Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing Eye Cream:

Olay Anti-ageing Eye Cream comes in a tiny transparent glass bottle with a black screw cap. The size of the bottle is similar to Colorbar lip pots and concealer. The jar being made up of glass is heavy and is prone to breakage. So, one needs to be careful with it, definitely gets a bit unhygienic because we need to dip fingers in it to take out the product.  Olay anti-ageing cream comes in a single shade. Though all eye creams usually come in a single shade, I am specifically mentioning the shade of this eye cream because it isn’t transparent like most of the other eye gels and creams. It is more of a concealer cum anti-ageing eye cream.

My mom doesn’t use it regularly, but still after a month, I could see changes in her under eye area, by the way, by changes I mean positive changes. This cream has been successful in reducing the dark circles. It won’t disappear the dark circles completely but still, it reduces the dark circles to a great extent. It helps in reducing wrinkles and fine lines with passage of time. It doesn’t need a moisturiser underneath.  It doesn’t look patchy, ashy or dry under the eyes. Because of the concealer effect, it hides fine lines and other minor imperfections around the eye area, so it can be definitely used in your makeup routine in place of a concealer. It reduces crow feet too.

I would say it is a fantastic anti-ageing eye cream. Though it is pricey, but it is definitely worth it. Moreover, if you are someone who has complete faith on Olay (like my mom), you are going to be happy with it. In fact, my mom liked it so much that she asked me to get one for my aunt too and she loves this eye cream too.
