My Experience with Olay Whitening Body Wash Rose and Milky White:
The body wash comes in a white plastic bottle and with detailing in bright pink fonts. The bottle closes with a translucent pinkish flip top cap, which fits securely and makes the packaging leak-proof. The bottle has all the necessary product related information printed on it. The packaging is simple and looks nice. The bottle is sturdy and travel-friendly as well.
The body wash is white in color and has pink colored beads in it. The consistency of the body wash is slightly on a runny side. The texture is thin and it easily spills, which causes product wastage. So, it is better to pour some amount on the loofah and work with it. The formula is similar to shower creams. This is a rose and milk variant. So, it is quite obvious that the body wash will have a rose fragrance.
It has a refreshing floral fragrance but it is so mild that I could hardly notice it. I love my shower products to be a little strong smelling but this faint fragrance turned out to be very dull. It is not really refreshing. The fragrance fades away as soon as I leave the shower. So, I am very disappointed with the fragrance of this product.
The formula lathers very well and a coin-sized amount or a little more is good enough for cleansing the whole body properly. It creates a lot of foam and cleanses the skin nicely. It deeply cleanses the skin by removing all the dirt and leaves my skin squeaky clean. It does not feel heavy on the skin. The body wash is really easy to wash off. It does not leave any slippery or greasy residue behind.
It does not really dry out my skin and I do not need my moisturizer instantly after the shower. But after an hour or so, my skin definitely seeks moisturization. The body wash has nice pink colored micro beads, which dissolve while lathering. The beads are pretty useless and do nothing to exfoliate the skin as the product claims.
The body wash claims to whiten the skin tone. But, I have not observed any such difference. The body wash is very easy to wash off. It does not leave any slippery residue behind. Overall, this is an average shower product and there is nothing extraordinary about it.
