Hope all of you are enjoying your days here comes another TGIF bash. Yay! I am more excited for this Friday since I will get to enjoy India Cultural Fest wearing my favorite Indian attire, the 6 yards elegance to more smart and gorgeous me, i.e. saree! Our daughter’s school is organizing a mixed cultural festival this Friday for kids & mothers around. And, I am looking forward to introduce our cultural food, attire and all good activities to the younger generations and other people apart from learning their culture as well. However, I am yet to decide on potluck menu from my side while my saree and jewellery are all decked up for event! 😀

Anyway, let me talk about today’s review first before we all start dreaming about the event. Summers often come as nightmare for many oily, acne prone beauties like me, however we are lucky to have innovative products like cleansing wipes/cloths, facial sprays etc now a days to beat all odds and stay fresh & glowing! I also took inspiration from IMBB beauties who swear by facial wipes during summers. So far, I love these cleansing cloths which seem to be the best match for my oily, sensitive and not to forget problematic skin! My Experience with Ole Henriksen Oil Free Pore Refining Cleansing Cloths:

I picked up the smaller package of 10 quilted cloths this time. The cloths come in as usual plastic packaging; nothing fancy! Though, I find them easy to carry in my bag or purse this way. They do have a significant menthol mixed fragrance which soothes my sense. Overall, I find them quite user friendly & travel friendly in smaller packages.

The cloths seem standard size which will work for anyone. I noticed that cloths appear to be textured at one side while other side seems smooth. I guess the textured side is for mild exfoliation and cleansing purpose while I use smooth surface for my neck and eye area. It does mention that we should take extra care around eyes considering the presence of citric acid, lactic acid, glycolic acid, but I use it over my eyes and around eye area without any issues.

Even the textured surface is not rough or abrasive against our skin. I find it mild enough to pat on my face for instant cooling and cleansing effect. I can also see how effectively it sweeps away dirt, grime and traces of makeup off my face that too without drying or causing any irritation on my weird skin. There are times when I simply feel lazy to follow CTM routine at night and these cleansing cloths certainly come in as a savior to cleanse and nourish my oily skin and giving me fresh skin by morning.

I can see the presence of alcohol in formulation but, to my surprise, I didn’t feel any drying or stretchy skin so far! Probably it will be tricky for combination, normal skin, but it is undoubtedly a  blessing for my oily, acne prone skin! I have used few cleansing cloths before from different brands and I found this Ole Henriksen the best among them.

I find myself comfortable with these cleansing wipes during any trip or days out quite often! I would definitely like to get them again and wholeheartedly recommend it to every beauty with oily or combination skin!

Pros of Ole Henriksen Oil Free Pore Refining Cleansing Cloths:

• A nourishing and cleansing facial cloth infused with the goodness of witch hazel extract, aloe, glycolic acid, lactic acid etc which are like blessings for oily and problematic skin
• It really nourishes and mildly cleanses the skin
• It mildly wipes away oil, dirt, grime and makeup from skin without any tingling or burning sensation despite the presence of alcohol and other ingredients
• Feels cooling and soothing especially if I use it after strenuous exercise or during outings on a hot summer day
• It has not caused any irritation, or has over dried on my weird skin so far
• It does not accentuate my oily skin or open pores, hence my skin feels shine free for good hours
• An ideal product for oily and problematic skin for summers

Cons of Ole Henriksen Oil Free Pore Refining Cleansing Cloths:

• Presence of alcohol might be bothersome to sensitive skin, though I never found any issues
