OOTD: Chambray Jumper Shorts and Keds Sneakers

Hello Lovelies!

I am writing this post few hours after reading Sanjeev’s post on IMBB’s past, present and future. It was such an inspiring read, full of heart. I 101% agree on everything he said and I don’t wonder why IMBB was such a success. It empowers women from multitude walks of life. IMBB is truly more than makeup and beauty. I sincerely feel that IMBB is indeed the best community for women, and men who love and support them, to learn, share and be more loving of themselves and of others. I am grateful for my IMBB experience.

About men trying to understand women, I absolutely agree that men are from Mars and women are from Venus! It isn’t easy to understand huge difference between men and women but believe me, it is fun! It shows on my husband’s face that he has questions marks on his head whenever he sees me photographing my make ups, trying and experimenting with them even if we’re not going out! I sometimes ask him if a lip color suits me or what he think is the color of my new lipstick. He is clueless about fuchsia! But I feel he is happy to see me happy about what I am doing. That’s what’s important.

That’s a wordy opening I have huh. Haha. Now, for my outfit for the day, I am sharing with you some photos of me that my husband took, again on one of our stopovers. This is a place in Hacienda Luisita, Tarlac City, Philippines. This place is more of a provincial, laid back, refreshing place to rest for a while or stroll for few minutes to stretch and breathe fresh air. Since it is a long drive, I wore a comfortable outfit that brings that fun vibe. I wore my chambray jumper shorts which confuses me now if it’s made of denim or chambray fabric. Chambray looks like denim but is thinner. I am not so sure if this jumper could pass as Chambray. It is thinner than my denim jacket and pants and is lightweight too. So I think, Chambray it is.  I wore a sheer cotton top with stretchy lacey straps so I’ll feel cool during the entire hot travel time. I love how laces and denims work together too. Lace added femininity to my boyish attire.

I wore my favorite Keds sling back sneakers. I have this for like 6 to 7 years but it is still fresh and crisp. I am a huge fan of Keds for their fashionable, comfy and sturdy shoes. I paired my red and aqua shoulder bag with it.

For my accessories, I wore my multi-colored, ribbon shaped, studded earrings and leather bracelet. Makeup wise, I just used Maybelline BB Silk Cake Powder on face and ELF lipstick in Sociable on lips. Thanks to my sunnies for covering my pale looking eyes due to tiring activities for the week. 😉

Cute outfit 🙂 But more than that there is a feeling of you having fun in your outfit posts that I like a lot. I can imagine you dressing up, going to places, then asking your husband to click while you pose, and your husband making faces but going along all the same…. it brings freshness to otherwise dull life. Hope both of you had a great time. 🙂
