OOTD: Hello High Low!

OOTD: Hello High Low!

Hello IMBB Lovelies!

I wish you are all having a great time! As for me, in about a month, a major change is going to happen in my life. I’ve been very busy preparing for it. My husband received a job offer from overseas and we are quite thankful for the blessing. And now, my son and I are going to fly soon to be with his daddy. This family immigration gave me mixed feelings as I am going to miss my old place and excited at the same time as this is an adventure for us as a family. πŸ˜€

Outfit high low tribal print dress

Today, let me share with you photos of an outfit I wore on my brother’s birthday. I wore an ethnic printed high low dress. Honestly, I am unsure at first how to call the kind of print that my dress has but settled on saying it is ethnic. The print is familiar to me as I saw them on books. Some ethnic groups from yester years were wearing those print designs. So there. I do find the print and color combination interesting and it gives life to the dress. I like that I can pair it with a lot of shoes. I can wear brown, nude or orange footwear. But I decided to wear my black peep toe pumps because I wanted to appear taller. I used my black purse to match my shoes.

I love the halter top as it was exposing my collar bones, creating an illusion that I am thinner from shoulders up. I love this dress as it is sleeveless, so cool and so comfortable to wear. Perfect for summers. High low style, I always adore them a lot. It’s like when I am unsure what to wear, short or long dress, then I go for high low! πŸ˜€

For accessories, I kept it minimal. I wore my striped, brown and gold studded round earrings and stacked a tri-color metallic cuff and bronze leatherette bracelet together. πŸ˜€ I styled my hair in a simple bun for that clean and fresh look, as it is so hot here during mid day.

As always, makeup is kept simple but I always wanted to look fresh so I used my Maybelline BB Silk Cake Powder that I find good in keeping oil production to minimum and for giving a smooth finish. I used Revlon Powder Blush in Softspoken Pink on cheeks for subtle, natural looking blush, 4U2 Eyebrow Pencil in Brown on eyebrows and NYX Natural Eyeshadow and 4U2 Gel Liner in brown on eyes. Then a simple MLBB lippie, Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Soft Rose on lips. πŸ˜€
