OOTD: Traditional Silk Heavy Border Saree

OOTD: Traditional Silk Heavy Border Saree

Hi Friends,

First of all thanks to all of you for wishing and blessing my angel on her first b’day. On your sweet wish am really happy to share her big day with all of you. As I was myself behind the lens that day I could not click my pics. So I am doing it today for our IMBB. I have attached the function pics at the end of this post.. πŸ™‚
Traditional Silk Heavy Border Saree

As decided earlier I asked my mother-in-law to bring my favorite red silk saree here for my baby’s b’day bash! I love wearing silk and crepe as both tend to make you look slim and smart.. πŸ˜‰ I wore the same red saree on my wedding reception and got many compliments; since then this red saree became my favorite.. πŸ™‚ lol

I just love how it drapes down with an ease and the heavy border at base makes sure that plaits are nicely set. It looks so heavy that you can wore it in wedding also but while draping you reveal how light and silky it is! I feel like walking and walking on the ramp.. lol πŸ˜›

Saree OOTD1

I opted to wear traditional gold jewellery with this saree which my parents brought from India. Since my saree has broad heavy border hence I skipped heavy neckpiece and wore my wedding mangalsutra. The party was organized at home so I skipped footwear and other accessories too! And for face make up you all know my red lippy hunt mission.. πŸ˜› I just applied TBS tea tree pore minimizer with face powder touch up and all set along with kajal and red lipcolor. I hope I was able to do justice with our indian wear.. ☺

Gold Jewellery: Parents gifted
Make Up: Kajal (Lakme), Face Powder (Loreal Visible Lift Absolute Serum Powder), Lipcolor (Maybelline Color Vivids On Fire Red)
