Hello beauties!

How are you doing today? We are, as usual, getting roasted in hot weather just like Turkey in an oven and I feel sorry for people around including my hubby and baby who have no choice but to walk out in this scorching heat. I wish to see clouds and rain soon! To be honest, after chilling cold weather, these scorching summers make me feel good about my decision of being a homemaker, by choice. At least this way I can take good care of my family and myself. Moreover, I have IMBB to spark up my boring day with zillions of colors and beauty products.
Today I am here to share colorful nail lacquers from OPI, my much loved brand! However, I am not impressed with the formula and finish of these shades on my nails this time. So, let’s get started with OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook, Samoan Sand, Pink-ing Of You Nail Lacquers!

My Experience with OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook, Samoan Sand, Pink-ing Of You Nail Lacquer:
All the OPI nail lacquers come in sturdy glass bottle packaging with long slender brush applicator attached to the black cap. As I always say, I like how OPI is embossed on the head of the black cap. It has a strong lacquer smell, but then it’s nothing to concern about. Before talking about the nail lacquers, let me tell you that all these summery shades belong to different series from OPI ike OPI Can’t Find MY Czechbook shade belongs to their Euro Centrale by OPI range which seems and claim to fuse contemporary with modern classic art & fashion. While OPI Samoan Sand is their usual classic nail color edition and OPI Pinking Of You belongs to soft shades edition which mostly comprises of soft, feminine pinks, violets, roses & nudes, pretty much to my liking for romantic occasions.
It is interesting to note that their formula is almost same apart from the packaging; just that they differ in quality and texture. All the three shades are runny in nature and come up almost streaky and translucent on first stroke, to my surprise. They need at least 2-3 generous swipes to give buildable coverage and glossy finish and I am not much impressed with their formula this time for being too watery and streaky on nails. However, I often noticed that pastel shades are always either runny or slight streaky at times, but spending almost 5-6 bucks for this formula does not make sense to me in any case!
Though I am still happy with this aqua blue Can’t Find My Czechbook shade which comes up creamy glossy with 2- swipes while other two shades Samoan Sand and Pinking Of You are slightly disappointing to me and I don’t think I will get them again. Though it is quite impressive to see that none of them feather around nails or feel goopy in finish except the last pink shade. The staying power is almost similar, irrespective of their finish on the nails; they manage to stay for 8-10 days with no chipping and/or fading thereby depending upon person to person and the degree of household work. Let’s talk about each shade in detail now!
OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook Nail Lacquer
It is a bright aqua blue creamy shade with no shimmers. It will require at least 2 swipes for even finish and creamy glossy sheen. Although it also tends to look translucent and streaky with first swipe, it is workable upon multiple swipes and does not bother me much. I like how it compliments my skin tone, though it is also one of those tricky shades which may or may not suit pale skin tone. But I simply love it on my nails as it stays put for good 1-1.5 weeks on my nails.
IMBB Rating:
4.4/5
OPI Samoan Sand Nail Lacquer
Well it seems to be the lightest milky, peachy shade that looks almost nude on my skin tone. I didn’t expect it to be as neutral for my skin tone; it hardly shows up on my hands. 😛 It is also runny in texture and formula, and gives buildable coverage and pigmentation with 2-3 swipes. I am yet to decide if I like it or not. I usually pair it with some bright nail colors and prefer not to wear it alone. It is also impressive to see that it does not look cakey or streaky with multiple swipes while it stays for good 8-10 days on my nails.
IMBB Rating:
3.9/5
OPI Pink-ing Of You Nail Lacquer
This was my favorite shade, a baby pink cum Barbie pink shade, if only the texture and formula were up to mark! I dislike its runny texture and formula which always comes up slightly streaky on nails regardless of the number of swipes. This would be my most disappointed purchase of all for its tricky formula and finish on nails. It does stay for good 6-8 days with no chipping/fading. I wish the texture was little more manageable and workable to make it my HG nail lacquer. It is such a romantic shade of pink and it compliments my skin tone so well.
IMBB Rating:
Sadly, 3/5
I would definitely recommend “Can’t Find My Czechbook” to everyone while those who love nudes and peaches will like “Samoan Sand”, but I doubt if we have any fan following for “Pink-ing of You” because personally I do not like it!
Let’s sum up pros and cons:
Pros of OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook, Samoan Sand, Pink-ing Of You Nail Lacquer:
• Versatile, creamy, non-shimmery nail paints
• All the shades stay put for good 8-10 days with no chipping and/or fading
• None of the shades except Pink-ing Of You give goopy or streaky finish
• All the shades compliment my skin tone
• All the shade are similar in texture and formula, though their finish differ
• Bright, wonderful, summery shade selection in every range
Cons of OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook, Samoan Sand, Pink-ing Of You Nail Lacquer:
• Comparing to usual OPI shades, these nail lacquers seem tricky in formula and texture
• None of the shade give even finish or opaque color payoff with single swipe
• The shade Pink-ing Of You looks slightly streaky at times even after multiple swipes
• The shade Samoan Sand seems tricky for my pale skin tone
Well, I have tried many OPI products and I feel these shades are not upto the mark, unlike other OPI shades I own. However, this won’t stop me from exploring OPI’s other ranges!
