OPI Nail Lacquer – Happy Anniversary Review
Hello everyone,

Hope the week is going great for all of you. Today, I’m here with the review of a very pretty O.P.I. nail lacquer. Read on further for my review, but first a short excerpt from O.P.I.’s website that you may like to know about: “Since 2006, OPI has reformulated its entire line of Nail Lacquers, Nail Treatments, and Nail Hardeners to eliminate DBP (dibutyl phthalate) and Toluene. Formaldehyde has never been an ingredient in OPI Nail Lacquers or Nail Treatments.”
Price:

Approximately Rs. 600 for 15 ml.
My Take on OPI Nail Lacquer – Happy Anniversary:
Happy Anniversary is a white silvery-pearly nail lacquer with lots of pearl shimmer and very fine silver glitter. It is totally a frost/shimmer finish, and goes on sheer for the first two coats; you may need to apply a third coat and sometimes even a fourth for total opacity. The brush is quite a big one and provides full coverage over the middle and sides of the nail bed in three even strokes, and the consistency of the nail polish is quite thin.
It dries very quickly and today is the sixth day I am wearing it, with no chips or scratches at all. In the photos, I have applied two coats and took the photos on the first day itself. If I feel the colour/finish is getting dull, all I need to do is to apply another thin coat to brighten up the colour all over again. In my opinion, this would suit all skin tones, suitable for day and night use, and would be a lovely shade to wear with a white bridal gown. Happy Anniversary made my hands look very pretty, even if I may say so myself!
Sometimes I feel the pinkish colour of the nails underneath shows through just a bit, but that doesn’t happen when you apply more than three coats. I also think this would also look lovely layered over a black base or even gunmetal grey, red, magenta – I’m sure it would add a lovely fairy dust finish to any creamy colour nail polish. I think I’m going to try that out this weekend!
