OPI Nail Polish in Just Spotted The Lizard Review
Hi Everyone!
Today, I am showing you an amazing nail polish – Just Spotted The Lizard which was released by O.P.I. as part of “The Amazing Spiderman Collection” for Summer 2012. This collection was inspired by the movie ‘The Amazing Spiderman” which was released in July 2012.
This collection consisted of 7 nail polishes, and was a Limited Edition collection. Other shades in this collection are:
- My Boyfriend Scales Walls (a creamy white).
- Call Me Gwen-Ever (a creamy coral).
- Your Web Or Mine? (a frosted medium pink).
- Shatter The Scales (a dark green shatter polish with shimmer).
- Into The Night (a dark blue with shimmer).
- Number One Nemesis (a deep metallic green with shimmer).
Interesting names, don’t you think? Just Spotted The Lizard is a green-gold metallic duochrome, which is a total shade shifter. These days, I am so into special-effect kind of nail polishes, and I am loving duochromes that change colour from different angles. (Also, into some really fantastic holographics too, will do reviews on those in a little while!). Oh, and also some really new trend of nail polish that has become the latest rage – will show you those too soon.
So as you can see, normal type of polishes are finding me too boring these days….errrr *preen* …..I mean I am finding them too boring these days *powder* *nails*
Just Spotted The Lizard is a total out-and-out dupe for Chanel Peridot Nail Polish, you can see from Rati’s photos of Chanel Peridot, which I am showing you.
I don’t have Chanel Peridot in my stash, but from what I have seen/heard, there is completely NO difference between these two. So, here we have a cheaper dupe for a Chanel nail polish. It’s quite hard to find these days, so if you do come across this one, I suggest that if you like it, you should grab it or else you might not get it again!
Pros of OPI Nail Polish in Just Spotted The Lizard:
- A gorgeous green-gold duochrome shade.
- Gives good, rich, even coverage and doesn’t look streaky.
- Lasts at least 5 days without chipping.
- A dead-on dupe for Chanel Peridot.
Cons of OPI Nail Polish in Just Spotted The Lizard:
- Limited edition.
- Not available in India.
