My Experience with OPI Teal The Cows Come Home:
Well, when you spot gorgeous goodies in your dressing table, your hands obviously itch to use all of them at once 😛 I was also in trial and error phase since a week; however, I am still clueless about my Tuesday outfit. 😛 Since the day I got this deep blue nail paint, my hands were itching like anything to wear them. Somehow, I managed to get hold of them and since then, I am wearing it even though it hardly matches with my outfits 😀 but still it looks great. “Teal the cows come home” is a bright yet deep turquoise shade with shimmer.
It is again one such shade which instantly brightens up my hands and feet and I am really happy with the wide brush which gives even coverage in one shot.
Now, my hands are set with the brush and I can see I am applying this nail paint neatly and precisely on nails, wow! However, I notice that there is slight chipping with this turquoise nail paint on the very 4th day of wearing it, though it is not very prominent, but still, it is slightly bothering from a nail lacquer which claims 2 weeks non-chipping guarantee 😛 I did not notice this early chipping with my previous “I eat mainly lobster,” I had to intentionally remove it off to try this turquoise though.
Its my 5th day of wearing this turquoise nail paint and it has started chipping slightly from the tips; however, the nail paint is intact on my toe nails. I guess I might have layered it excessively or I am too harsh on my hands with kitchen work and laundry 😛 I need some pampering now! Overall, I would say the shade and its finishing on nails is super gorgeous provided it stays up to its 2 week non-chipping claim further.
Let’s sum up the pros and cons:
Pros of OPI Teal The Cows Come Home:
- Gorgeous deep turquoise nail paint with bright shimmer.
- Glossy and bright finishing on nails.
- It is a DBP and toluene-free product.
- It instantly brightens up hands and feet.
- Long-lasting 15 ml bottle compared to its high-end price.
Cons of OPI Teal The Cows Come Home:
- I noticed slight chipping on 5th day of wearing it 😛
- The price.
Well for the shade, glossy shine and super large bottle, I would like to give one more chance and observe how fast it chips from my nails next time. If you love turquoise and willing to have it in your vanity kit, then you should give this a try! Hope you liked it.
I am sharing my mehandi picture with you all, I am not good at art, but I love mehandi and did it for karwachauth.
