My Experience with OraLabs Liprageous Red Apple Lip Balm:
The packaging of the lip balm is so funky. The fonts on the lip balm tube look so cool. The tube is wrapped up with a sticker, which bears all product details, ingredients list, etc. The lip balm tube comes with regular twist up mechanism, which works pretty fine. The lip balm tube has a small cap, which fits securely making it travel friendly. Overall, the packaging looks cool and it is absolutely travel-friendly.
The lip balm looks light pink in color in the bullet. But, it is a non-tinted variant. It does not impart any color to the lips. It is a simple clear lip balm. So, it will not hide the pigmentation of the lips. Just two swipes are good enough to cover the whole lips. It has a mixed fruit fragrance with apple fragrance being more prominent. The smell is strong. I was not much pleased with its fragrance initially. But, it is totally a matter of personal choice. The smell of the lip balm fades away within 15-20 minutes of application. The lip balm has a sweet taste to it and I really like that. But, I was quite disappointed to see its ingredients list because they have added saccharines to these lip balm for a sweet taste. All of us are pretty aware with the carcinogenic effects of these artificial sweetners. Bummer!
The texture of the lip balm is soft and smooth but it is not very creamy. It still glides smoothly all over the lips without any tugging or pulling. The texture is good and feels light on the lips. The formula is non sticky and feels comfortable on the lips. It does not impart high shine to the lips and hence it is perfect to be used under the matte lipsticks.
The lip balm has a moisturizing formula. It moisturizes the lips well but the moisturization lasts for 3 hours approx. So, frequent reapplications are required with this lip balm. As I am a total lip balm addict, so I don’t mind applying it. It does not hydrate the lips enough. Regular usage of the lip balm helps in healing dry and chapped lips but, it does not work for very dry lips. The lip balm does not survive even a little snacking and vanishes completely. But, I found something interesting about this lip balm. It does not survive meals, but when I apply it at bedtime, it stays on my lips whole night and when I wake up it is still there on my lips and my lips are nicely moisturized. Overall, this is like other normal lip balms available. There is nothing much extraordinary in this lip balm.

• Wipes off completely even with light meals.
• Frequent reapplication is required.
• Does not work on very dry lips.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend OraLabs Liprageous Red Apple Lip Balm?
Yes, it is good for normal lips but surely not very moisturizing for very dry lips. You may give it a try if you do not mind frequent reapplication.
