Organic Surge Blonde Boost Conditioner Review

Organic Surge Blonde Boost Conditioner

Hello Everyone!

I have been using Organic Surge Moisture Boost Shampoo for a while now with encouraging effects against hair fall. But as I stated in my review, it is inefficient in taming frizz, necessitating a conditioning follow-up. I reasoned investing in a good conditioner with long term benefits would be better than buying those that deliver instant results at the cost of hair damage. Once again, I pinned my faith in a widely recommended hair care brand – Organic Surge. I could not find a Moisture Boost conditioner to complement my shampoo so settled for the only variant available, which was Organic Surge Blonde Boost Conditioner.

My Experience with Organic Surge Blonde Boost Conditioner:

The conditioner comes in a fragile tube with a flip-open cap. I wish they spent more on the packaging, making it a tad sturdier. Its consistency is thinner, runnier and smoother, compared to other conditioners that I have used. It is however, denser than the Organic Surge moisture boost shampoo, which prevented unfettered spillage of its contents. Nevertheless, I store it upside down as a precautionary measure. I find its smell irksome. It has a raw earthy odor to it, not the refreshing one of mud soaking in the first showers (I love that smell!), but a rather pungent stench. The good part is this smell is washed off with water. I massage it across the length of my hair and leave it for a few minutes after shampoo. A little over coin-sized amount is sufficient for my shoulder length hair. The non-greasy formula doesn’t weigh down on the hair and washes off easily in no time. It does, to quite an extent tame the frizz that the shampoo simply cannot deal with and makes hair softer but under-performs when you compare these results with its chemical based counterparts, which give you a visibly lustrous and smooth mane post application. It tames my frizz just enough so I don’t end up looking like a grizzly bear. As to its claim of enhancing hair highlights, I cannot comment, for I do not color/highlight my naturally black hair. In combination with Organic Surge Moisture Boost Shampoo, this conditioner has been very effective in reducing hair fall, at a gradual pace.

Will I Repurchase Organic Surge Blonde Boost Conditioner?

Yes I will. The Organic Surge line might not deliver instant smoothness or shine but they check hair fall, which is an enormous benefit. I might try other variants of this line to check for better fragrance.

  1. I was waiting for this *woot* *woot* always wanted to try this blonde one as i have coloured my hair soo many times *hifive* surely going to try this *pompom* *pigtail*

  2. nice detailed review *clap* *clap*

FYI if you use these blonde or brunette boosting shampoo and conditioners they keep on depositing colour to the hair as it is targeted towards those who have coloured their hair with these variants. In the long run they might do more harm than good *shock*

  3. awwwww…. I have been using the same range in shampoo and conditioner for quite a while now for my naturally brown hair and I am very happy with the results. Since there are zero chemicals, there’s no deposits of any colour in the hair…so no hairfall issues and sleek smooth shiny hair. Unfortunately they have discontinued the range. And i’m stressed about which shampoo-conditioner duo to switch to…. *cry* *scared*
