The winter is coming with full force and we are all gearing up for it. Dehradun weather is getting chiller and drier with each passing day and so I am reviewing a product that has a permanent place in my winter arsenal! It is Organic Surge Super-intensive Daily Moisturiser. Organic Surge is a trusted natural skincare brand and all the products that I have used so far have worked for me. 🙂

My Experience With Organic Surge Super-Intensive Daily Moisturiser:

This off-white daily cream comes in a beautiful glass jar with a plastic lid. There was an inner plastic cap over the jar that I just realized is missing! The texture is really smooth, almost like that of butter. 🙂 It actually melts like butter on your skin and is no doubt a boon for very dry skin (I have sensitive, dry-combination skin, which is super-dry in winters, and flakes a lot 🙁 ).

The cream is very aptly named as it surely is super-intensive. I apply it whenever I start having dry patches and it treats them perfectly. As it doesn’t provide any sun protection, I avoid using it during daytime. Also, I believe it will be too heavy to be used during the day. Even my over dry skin starts feeling oily. So oily-skin beauties should stay away. But it is perfect as a night cream, though Organic Surge also has a night cream already reviewed on IMBB. This one is a really rich moisturiser, so a little quantity is required each time.

And the fragrance…so soothing to the senses. I think it is of geranium. Sooo fresh…I just love it.

This cream has 99% natural ingredients. Also, the ingredients are Ecocert certified. And it is sensitive skin tested too. I read a little about the rose geranium oil listed as the main ingredient. Rose geranium essential oil is a one of the best solutions to many skincare problems. It treats congested skin, inflammations, eczema, broken capillaries, varicose veins, dermatitis, and is possibly effective to prevent premature aging skin because of its regenerative properties. Great! It is like a jackpot for the winter skin. 😛

As you can see, I have already hit the bottom of the jar. I am so in love with this cream. 🙂 I also sometimes use it as a cream pack. I apply a thick layer, keep it for 15 minutes, and wash it off with lukewarm water after a little massage. My skin drinks up all the oils and feels so supple. I think this is a perfect winter cream!

Cons of Organic Surge Super-Intensive Daily Moisturiser:

• No SPF, so can’t be used during the day.
• Some people don’t like glass packaging!

Would I Repurchase/ Recommend Organic Surge Super-Intensive Daily Moisturiser?

Yes!!! 100%. Highly recommend it too.
