Organic Surge Volume Boost Conditioner Review
Hey Everyone,
Today’s pick is the Organic Surge Volume Boost Conditioner that I picked online a while ago. I have been using this on an on-off basis. Read on to know more about this product.
Product Description:
For happy-ever-after hair…volume boost conditioner gently detangles and smoothes without the commonly-used silicones that can weigh down fine hair. The caring formula is enriched with comfrey and echinacea plant extracts, a combination recommended by botanists to enhance fine, flyaway hair. Volume Boost Conditioner gently builds body and shine, leaving your hair feeling lustrous and healthy. Organic Surge effective, honest products are packed with caring, naturally-derived ingredients. They contain no sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate or parabens for your precious skin to absorb.

My Experience with Organic Surge Volume Boost Conditioner:
After reading the review on the Organic Surge Volume Boost Shampoo here, I wanted to try the range and hence picked up both the shampoo and conditioner online. The moment I received the products, I went ahead to smell them because I like my products to smell good. The shampoo smells good but the conditioner smells like a strong medicine more like the herbal kinds. I was disappointed but I still wanted to see how it fared on my hair. The good thing is that the smell fades off after the wash. It comes in a bulky packaging which is definitely not travel friendly. The conditioner is creamy and light and spreads easily on the hair. I like to keep it on for about 3 minutes before rinsing it out. It does not require a lot of water to rinse it out completely.
Although I hate the smell, I love the volume it creates for my hair. When used with the shampoo, the results are really good and my hair remains in a good condition for at least 2 days. Even on the third day, it does have some volume and does not appear weighed down. The conditioner works well with other shampoos as well, but the results are more prominent when used with a volumizing shampoo. It does not moisturize hair much and won’t suit dry and damaged hair. It does not tame frizz and you will need to use a light serum to tame it down. Overall, I like it for the volumizing ability, but I wish it was a little more moisturizing and smelled better.
Pros of Organic Surge Volume Boost Conditioner:
- Lives up to its claims.
- Inexpensive if compared to the quantity we get.
- No SLS/SLES and parabens.
- Available online.
Cons of Organic Surge Volume Boost Conditioner:
- The fragrance is not to my liking (it smells like a strong medicine to me).
- Does not moisturize hair much.
- Does not control the frizz.
- Bulky packaging.
Final Verdict:
I quite like the volume this conditioner creates, but I just can’t stand the smell. I think I will stick to my Avalon Organics Volumizing Conditioner as it smells good and adds volume to my hair.
