Organic Surge Volume Boost Shampoo Review

Hello ladies!!

When you see a super sizer somewhere, you know that person loves that product. Same is with me when it comes to this particular shampoo by Organic Surge.  It is their volume boost shampoo, which has organic palmarosa and lime essential oils in it. Actually, I got it for my mother as she has pretty fine hair and she likes volumizing shampoos. So, let’s dig in and find out if it’s really worth it.

My Experience with Organic Surge Volume Boost Shampoo:

This comes in a regular sturdy transparent bottle. Like the OS shampoo tubes, I find it pretty convenient. It has a flip top, which doesn’t have a huge bore, and the bottle is pretty flexible, so you can squeeze out the product if you need more.

Organic Surge Volume Boost Shampoo 4

The consistency of this is pretty thin. It does look like a regular shampoo, but it is kind of runny. So, you need to cup your hands nicely to make it stay on your palm when you squeeze it out in the shower. It has a pretty fresh lime scent to it, which I find really refreshing and it does wake you up if you use it in the morning. I basically love such scents for body/hair products.

Now, I have tried it on my oiled hair as well as unoiled hair. I used it like crazy for 3-4 months and personally that is the longest that I have stuck to with one shampoo. So, when I use it on my un-oiled hair, it does a pretty decent job of cleansing the hair from all the styling products that I use. It detangles my hair to a significant extent. When I use it on my oiled hair, I probably need more than usual amount, but I feel that’s pretty normal because obviously you need more product to take all that greasiness off your hair. So, coming to its effects on your hair, *drums* this instantly lifts up the mood of your dull and limp hair and provides volume without making them puffy. This is probably one of the very few shampoos in the market, which does that. It cleanses the hair good, without making it feel extra dry and provides nice volume with a subtle shine. My mother has been using this since I gave it to her and she is probably on her 4th or 5th bottle right now 😛

Organic Surge Volume Boost Shampoo 5

According to her, no other organic shampoo has worked for her as good as this and it is pretty affordable too.  It even improves the texture of your hair as your hair isn’t stripped off every time you wash it.  I feel it is a must-have in your shower every time you want that extra volume in your hair, you can use this product. I highly recommend it to people who have thin and straight hair because this baby gives your hair volume without making your hair go crazy.

Pros of Organic Surge Volume Boost Shampoo:

  • Good packaging.
  • Organic shampoo free of harsh chemicals.
  • Works amazing and does what it claims.
  • It has essential oils, so even if you use it on un-oiled hair, it won’t make your hair feel extra dry.
  • Over a period of time, improves the health of your hair.
  • Not tested on animals.
  • Pretty inexpensive and also available at lesser prices online.

Cons of Organic Surge Volume Boost Shampoo:

  • None that I can think of for this one.

Will I Repurchase Organic Surge Volume Boost Shampoo?

Yes, I will. It is always good to have a volumizing shampoo in your shower and this one is the best volumizing shampoo that I know of out there.

I kind of like to change my shampoo pretty often other than my HG shampoos. The blonde boost and shine tubes I had finished a couple of months back with one may be one use remaining. Since I had the tubes, I thought it’s be great idea to review them.
