Organix is one of my favorite drugstore brands. I have used and reviewed many of their products, here on IMBB. A few months back, on my regular shopping trip to Ulta, I picked up another product from this brand. This review will be on the Organix Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Conditioner.
About The Product:
Quench dry, damaged hair with this nutrient rich blend of hydrating sea minerals along with healing green algae to wrap split ends in repairing moisture, while supercharged sea kelp transforms dry, brittle hair into soft supple perfection.
• Unique blend of sulfate-free surfactants for stress-free hair
• Leaves hair refreshed with swish-like movement and super soft shine
• For dry, damaged hair
• Wraps split ends in repairing moisture
• With supercharged sea kelp
• Not tested on animals
My Experience with Organix Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Conditioner:
I like the sturdy plastic bottle with a beautiful sea green color. It has a flip top cap.
This conditioner has a very light, whipped gel like consistency. It spread easily onto damp hair and not a lot is needed for one application.
This is a fantastic conditioner! My hair is dry and very fine, hence lacks volume. I started using this conditioner during last winter. Though, this conditioner is not as rich and hydrating as my Organix Moroccan Argan Creme Conditioner, it still provides adequate moisture to my hair to smooth it out and soften it. Moderate amount of hydration is best for summer months when hair tends to get greasy and sweaty, hence something heavy will not really benefit.
The best thing about this product is that along with smoothing out my hair and reducing occasional frizz that I suffer from, it gives me beautifully full and bouncy hair. The sea water (or the salt in it) which is one of the ingredients in this conditioner, is also used in sea salt sprays to get volume in hair. Even after 2-3 days post hair wash, hair doesn’t feel greasy or fall flat.
This conditioner has a very strong scent, hence if you have a sensitive nose you will not like this. I personally love the scent! It smells like the salty air on the beach and the ocean to me. It is refreshing and invigorating. The scent lingers on my hair for few hours.
Overall, this is a great product which I am thoroughly enjoying. I love that the brand Organix is committed to providing products that are free of harmful ingredients like Paraben and Sulfates and also, the products are not tested on animals.
This may not be the best product for you if you have extremely dry, damaged hair in desperate need of hydration and therapy, but this is perfect for you if you are in search of a lightweight conditioner which does not weigh hair down, and instead gives it lots of volume and bounce. I highly recommend this.
Pros of Organix Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Conditioner:
• Does not weigh hair down
• Beautiful sea green bottle
• Amazing refreshing scent. I feel like I am taking a walk on the beach when I use this
• Gives hair lots of volume and bounce; perfect for fine hair
• Free of harmful ingredients like Parabens and Sulfates
• Very Affordable
Cons of Organix Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Conditioner:
• Gives adequate hydrating for summer season, but this is not the most hydrating/moisturizing conditioner – not the best choice during dry, winter season or for dry/ damaged hair!
