Hello my favourite people,
Organix is one of those brands that I have loved since the time I tried it and I never ignore any of its products. Whenever, I find any products I know I have to try it because it’s Organix! This time I got a mineral spa treatment designed for dry, weak, damaged or chemically treated hair and that’s exactly my hair type 😛 So read to know how this mineral hair spa product worked for me.
Price: Rs 725 for 200 ml
Product Description by Organix:
It’s a perfect spa escape! Luxurious sea minerals, quench dry, stiff strands leaving them refreshed, with swish-like movement and super soft shine!
Jump in the deep end with a moisture replenisher that’s sure to help revive weak, dry, damaged, overly processed or chemically treated hair.
My Experience with Organix Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Surge Deep Treatment:
The moisture surge deep treatment from Organix comes in a gorgeous looking metallic aqua blue inverted tube with turquoise blue fonts over it. It is accompanied with a shimmery gold cap at the base which lets it stand on my shower shelf. The packaging in all is very attractive and definitely resembles the spa mineral range that they are trying to offer. In-fact the range has a shampoo, conditioner, this treatment and the hair mist to reap the maximum benefits out of this range.
Organix is a sulphate free brand as well, so a good option for those who want to try sulphate free products. The treatment is pretty thick and light blue in colour. Due to its thick consistency it glides on very smoothly on my hair shaft and my hair strands totally get drenched in this stuff.
The scent is out of the world! It is so heavenly that I probably can’t describe it. It smells like a luxurious spa experience and it is loaded with the scent of sea kelp crystals which smell very aqua and refreshing. Every-time I use this, I end up sniffing the tube at least 5-6 times 😛 The scent lingers on my hair for the same day then goes away.
I keep it on for 3-5 minutes as mentioned after shampooing and then wash it off. It partly detangles my hair and if kept for more time, detangles my hair completely. I let my hair air-dry and after that it feels very soft, silky and smooth. Also a boost of shine is provided to my hair and my hair colour looks freshly done. My hair looks very healthy and the dryness goes away since it controls the frizz well on that very day. But if your hair is extremely dry then this stuff will make your hair even drier, so stay away.
I think I could observe very average results that probably any 200 bucks conditioner could also give, then what is the point spending so much of money! Not many of Organix products have left me disappointed but this did. This smells luxurious and looks luxurious but does nothing close to luxury. So a total skip because it works like a regular conditioner and nothing more!
Pros of Organix Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Surge Deep Treatment:
• A gorgeous looking tube in metallic aqua blue packaging with a very convenient to use gold shimmery cap.
• Travel-friendly since the cap is pretty tight.
• An entire range available to reap the maximum benefits.
• The treatment has a heavenly, refreshing aqua scent with sea kelp mineral hints which exactly feels like a luxurious spa product.
• It is pretty thick so my hair gets completely drenched in it.
• Leaves my hair soft, smooth and silky.
• The frizz is controlled for a day or two.
• My hair gets a natural bounce and they look more manageable.
Cons of Organix Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Surge Deep Treatment:
• It might further dry out extremely dry hair.
• It works only a little better than a conditioner; so nothing close to a deep treatment.
• The results were average; no improvement seen.
IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Will I Repurchase/Recommend Organix Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Surge Deep Treatment?
Umm.. I am a little confused about this one. Okay, I have decided! I won’t really recommend this one since it is pretty expensive and works only a little better than a regular conditioner. So skip this ad I will do the same too!
