Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner Review

Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner Review

By Vidhi V.

Helloooooooooooooooooo IMBB Beauties,

I’m super excited to write my first review at IMBB.  It is a pleasure writing for you all.  Being my first review, I thought of reviewing a hair conditioner that I’m currently using and loving!  The name of the brand is Organix.  This is the first time I have tried something from this brand and it looks promising so far.

Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner Review

Firstly, something about the brand.  Organix says it is for all who aspire to make better choices and are aware of the integrity of ingredients. Organix formulas contain organic active ingredients. It is Manufactured in USA.  It has won various awards like Allure, Daily mail beauty awards, VMP Beauty Awards etc.

Phew! Okay enough about the brand.  I came across this brand when I was researching on the products having argan oil.  As there’s such a buzz about this oil! I was looking where I could find this brand in Mumbai.  I went to the Beauty Shop to get rose water for myself, just inquired about this brand and voila, got it billed immediately! I got the conditioner first to check how it works on my hair.

My hair being dry at the ends, I have got the hair conditioner from their “Moroccan Argan Oil” range.

Product Description:

A unique, precious blend of Moroccan argan oil which instantly penetrates the hair shaft restoring shine and softness while strengthening and creating soft, seductive, silky perfection.

Why You Want It: This exotic precious blend of Moroccan argan oil penetrates, moisturizes, renews and creates softness and strength while protecting your hair from harmful styling heat and UV damage as it gives you smooth, sexy tresses.

What’s In It for You: This rare formula has a centuries-old history of providing natural vitamin E and antioxidants while renewing your hair’s cell structure, sealing in shine, and creating lush softness.

What it’s In: Organix bottles are eco-friendly, manufactured from materials containing recycled post-consumer resin. All labels are printed utilizing environmental inks and compostable label film made from annually renewable resource corn, not from petrochemicals. Not tested on animals. Made in USA.

Directions To Use:

After shampooing with Organix shampoo, apply organix conditioner generously to hair, working through to ends, wait 3-5 minutes.  Rinse hair thoroughly.  Best when used in conjunction with other Organix products.

Price:

Rs. 625 for 385 ml (got 15% discount on this), so got it for Rs. 531 yayyyy!

Shelf Life:

3 years.

Ingredients:

Ingredient List

As you can see, this brand is free from sulphates and parabens, but yes it does contain silicones.  As mentioned earlier, I have dry hair ends, but normal scalp, so that makes it combination!  I have long hair till my waist.

My Experience with Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner:

It’s been almost a month that I’m using this conditioner.  The first time I used it I was too excited.  I kept it for 5 minutes like I normally do.  I rinsed my hair with cold water (I normally do that because it’s supposed to be good as it seals the cuticles) and felt that my hair was really soft and smooth. My ends have never felt so soft after just conditioning; normally I have to apply a serum for my hair ends to behave well!

Conditioner Consistency

I continued to not apply anything after hair wash just to check if it works the same way, and yes it does! My hair behaves well till my next wash.  In fact, I normally comb my hair when I apply conditioner, and after wash, I just need not comb my hair, it feels really soft and manageable. My hair falls just the right way it is supposed to and remains like this for at least 2 days.

This is how my hair looked after washing. Soft, smooth with less frizz.

Vidhi

It comes in a cute blue colour bottle with a golden flip-open lid. It’s quite sturdy and good to carry while travelling. Just that the bottle is big enough to take space and no smaller (travel) size bottles are available (at least here in India).  The consistency is thick but glides easily on wet hair.  It has a very soft, mild, heavenly fragrance, but sadly does not stay at all!

Also, because of its thick consistency, not a lot is required even for hair which is my length, hence I feel this should last me a long time.

Argan oil is known to condition hair without leaving any sticky residue behind and tame your frizzes, and this conditioner does just the same.

Pros of Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner:

  • Makes hair really smooth and soft (hence true to its claims).
  • Does not contain sulphates or parabens.
  • Little quantity is required, hence can last long (justifies the price).
  • Not tested on animals.
  • Sturdy bottle, that will not leak.
  • Soft, mild fragrance, not too harsh.

Cons of Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner:

  • Limited availability in India (only available at the beauty centres).
  • Fragrance does not last at all.
  • Does have silicones

IMBB Rating:

4/5 (0.5 minus for silicones as a part, and 0.5 for fragrance that does not last).

Do I Recommend/Will I Repurchase Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner?

Yes, I would recommend to all the girls out there who are looking for a conditioner that is mild but yet effective. I think this will work well for people with curly hair.  Repurchase, not sure though I loved it, I would want to try their other ranges also (eyeing the Macadamia Range now), and then decide.

  3. Hi Pooja, as replied to anu earlier, there’s no name as such! They just layers and a lot of layers. Just told the hair dresser to not touch my length and do layers at the crown:)

  4. I’ve used argan oil product in my hair, just not this brand. I have a bottle of Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil for my hair and it works pretty well, no silicones 🙂

    1. Where did you buy that from… I had seen Pro-Naturals on Ebay but the bottle was too expensive as it said original Argan oil! I really wanna use pure argan oil now… lemme know where you got it from 🙂

  5. thank you for the recommendation, although I use another good conditioner for my hair, it’s pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair conditioner which keeps my hair moisturized, shiny, soft and healthy. 😀
