Organix Smooth Hydration Argan Oil and Shea Butter Shampoo

In my quest of finding the shampoo which improved my poor state of hair, I picked up the Organix Smooth Hydration Argan Oil and Shea Butter Shampoo. I have been using it for a while and here is my thought on the same.

Price: Rs. 725/- for 385ml

My experience with Organix Smooth Hydration Argan Oil and Shea Butter Shampoo:

The packaging of the shampoo is normal plastic bottle. A bit chubby looking bottle which is opaque and sturdy. The color combination is very pretty and I like to see the soothing pastel bottle sitting on the shelf. The cap is flip top which comes in handy in showers. The information on the product is stuck on the body of the bottle. Pretty functional packaging which could have been improved if there was a transparent vertical patch. That would have helped to find out how much product is left.

The texture of the shampoo is neither too runny nor too thick. It is not transparent as in the swatch but rather is a cloudy fluid. Thus the quantity can be controlled for each application. Only a little amount is required each time, hence the bottle will go a long way. The shampoo lathers well and has a distinct caramel smell which lasts only till you wash this off. I quite like the sweet caramel smell but I would have loved if it lingered for a while.

Argan oil and shea butter are the two ingredients which intrigued me on the first hand to pick this up. The claims of taming frizz came in as added bonus as these are believed to the best friends in skin and hair care. Though it controls frizz to an extent but does not eliminate frizz completely. I am still looking for the miracle product which gives salon finish look to my hair.

Overall I have noticed my hair behaving a bit after using this shampoo. There is shine and health imparted to my hair which was suffering badly last few days. I think I will pick up the conditioner as well with the hope that together they will work better.
