Oriflame Optimals Seeing is Believing Multi benefits Eye Cream Review
Thanks to my late night “social networking” & make up blog addiction, & erratic sleeping hours I developed dark circles and I wasn’t surprised.. I knew it well, where I was going wrong, So I started working upon my dark circles with this eye cream from oriflame, “seeing is believing multi benefits eye cream”
WHAT THE COMPANY CLAIMS ABOUT THE EYE CREAM
Lightweight eye cream visibly reduces puffiness, brightens dark circles and helps smooth out fine lines.
Its D-circle Complex helps reduce puffy eyes and brighten dark circles.
Eyebright extract helps soften shadows.
Price, Rs. 498 for 15 ml.. (ouchhh)
(Sorry for bad quality of images, I didn’t have my digi cam with me this week, so depending on my phone’s camera)

The exotic list of ingredients made me do some googling to know there benefits etc.
This plant is also known as eye bright. ☺
Eyebright was and continues to be used primarily as a poultice for the topical treatment of eye inflammations, including blepharitis, conjunctivitis, and styes. A compress made from a decoction of eyebright can give rapid relief from redness, swelling, and visual disturbances in acute and subacute eye infections.
Eyebright is high in iridoid glycosides, flavonoids, and tannins. The plant has astringent properties that probably account for its usefulness as a topical treatment for inflammatory states and its ability to reduce mucous drainage
Saxifraga stolonifera is a perennial flowering plant, which has conditioning properties & also used as an herbal remedy in Classical Japan. It contains Quercetin which has been shown to have anti-cancer activity in vitro.
cures skin and eye diseases.
Scutellaria baicalensis, also known as Baikal skullcap or huang quin, is frequently used in homeopathic medicine, Because it has properties that work as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-allergen.
CHONDRUS CRISPUS a.k.a Irish moss
Irish Moss, when added to body lotions, turns your dry, rough, patchy skin into smooth, silky, hydrated, glowing skin. It moisturizes and treats even the most unmanageable skin problems, including eczema, psoriasis, rashes and sunburns. And it nourishes and protects your skin from environmental elements.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS EYE CREAM
I have been using this eye cream every day from past one month exactly, after my CTM routine, morning & night, before bed… I cannot say this cream was miraculous and my dark circles were gone within 1 week… it works, but at its slow pace… it takes time to show slight results, which I think makes sense , since it shows the cream is mild but effective.
I also mix this with my concealer as suggested by Dear Mr. Blair Patterson a few months back here on IMBB (recall that Estee lauder session)
I can notice my dark circles fading & there s a noticeable difference from last month. So, I give a thumbs up to this eye cream. 🙂
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS ORIFLAME EYE CREAM
- The texture is light and doesn’t end up sticky or greasy on my under eye area.
- The shadow under my eyes have slightly reduced within 4 weeks time, with regular use, day and night
- Claims to be high on natural ingredients… feel good thing . 🙂
- It helps in reducing my puffy eyes within 2 weeks of regular use.
- A little goes a long way in terms of application, even after using it for 4 weeks everyday I am still left with ½ bottle.
- Comes in a tiny Cute glass pot…
- The cream color is blue, which I totally love! 😛 & we all love bloooo boxes tooo… 😀
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT THIS ORIFLAME EYE CREAM
- It does sting & bring my eyes to tears if some gets inside the eyes . This is the least one would expect from an eye cream..
- Takes a lot of time to show its results.
- Pot type packaging, very inconvenient to use. & unhygienic for some too
- Available via. Oriflame agents only
- Little quantity (just 15 ml) for the price (Rs.498)
Overall, I would recommend this product to those suffering from mild to moderate under eye circles, just because I don’t know whether or not it would work on people with severe panda eyes.
I must say that I use this product religiously every morning and night for almost a month now. I really love this product and was thinking of buying a second tub but only if some discount is on… ☺
But More than any eye cream , our eyes need good care, rest & sleep…. I hope I give my addictions soon & get rid of my dattty eye circles
Will I buy it again- I want to, but not unless it’s at some scheme/ discount …
(pooja will be happy to read this since I have always messed up by buying things at full price & not waiting for discounts… see pooja, I am learning 🙂 🙂 )
IMBB rating = :-* :-* :-* 3.5 / 5, -1.5 for packaging and slow effect
