Oriflame Giordani Gold Lip Lacquer in Natural Pink Review and Swatches
Hello girls, today I’ll review an Oriflame product. Everyone talks so much of oriflame lately. I have many products which I use specially the cosmetic range. Today I am reviewing a new product launched in this month’s catalog. It’s from their Giordani Gold Collection. It’s the lip lacquer from this collection.

Giordani Gold Lip Lacquer is a full coverage premium gloss.
Vibrant, sensual high coverage gloss with unique moisturizing complex. With twist top applicator for smooth application.

- Natural Pink- very nude pink color
- Vivid Magenta- deep magenta color
- Pure Peach-peachy coral color
- Deep Cerise-bright red color
- Warm Hazel-light chocolate brown color
I got the shade Natural pink. It has nice tiny golden shimmer too.
Ingredients:
Polybutene, Oleyl alcohol, Ricinus communis oil, Polyetyhlene, Aroma, Vitis vinifera, Hydrogenated Castor oil, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Mica, Tocopheryl acetate, Glyceryl linileate, propyl paraben, Retinyl palmitate, Glyceryl linolenate, BHT, Silica, Tin oxide, talc, tocopherol, +/-: CI 15850, CI 19140, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI77499, CI 77891.
My take:
I was tempted to buy this because of the full coverage formula. It has nice twist up applicator but its not sponge like in other Lakme twist up glosses. Rather the applicator is of the plastic only…but its quite smooth. I like the thick consistency which reminds me of M.A.C lipglass and dazzleglass. Staying power is quite nice. It stayed up to 4 hours on my lips with in between small meals. The color is not pigmented however, I don’t agree with the full coverage claim. But I think with other shades that might be not a problem. Since this is the lightest of shade from all I might be wrong. But when they mention full coverage it applies to all shades. I like the conditioning it provides to lips. I don’t need any lip balm with this. :))

- Good moisturisation.
- Love the nude natural pink color.
- The gold shimmer are not chunky and hardly visible on lips which I like.
- It gives a very high glossy pout.
- I do like the twist up tube.
- Not bad a price if compared to other high end brands.
Cons Oriflame Giordani Gold Lip Lacquer Natural Pink
- Not very pigmented hence not full coverage.
- Contains Paraben.
- Limited shades.
- Available only through Oriflame consultant and no testers for shades.
My rating: :-* :-* :-* + 0.5
My verdict: I may buy it for the moisturisation but then I prefer my MAC lipglass for same. I would have given it one more point if it would have been a little more pigmented.

yeah..it looks like..and aquashine has that sponge applicator too..but the stay power is not that much..this has 4 hours!! 😯 ..wow..I might order one in next order!! 😀 😀 😀
yeah staying power is good. Its thick no isliye stays better. You can try other shades. They will be much better pigmented than this. :yahoo: :yahoo:

I never tried MAC dazzleglass!! I want that!:P I was super disappointed after I saw 2ml.. but the Maybelline one also had very less quantity.. so I wasn’t surprised and dint order..

I was about to order the peach one Jinal but since I’m not a big fan or glosses I didn’t feel like shelling out the money for it. Thanks fr the review..I don’t like sheer lip colors esp after how it looked on the model in the brochure this is a disappointment! But it stays on for 4 hours..that’s quite awesome for a gloss. :waytogo:
