Oriflame Hair X Anti Ageing Hair Treatment Capsules Review

One of the questions I ask myself again and again is what was I thinking when I bought this HairX ANTI-AGEING treatment capsules for MATURE HAIR (sounds too philosophical). I have absolutely no idea why I bought these capsules because I don’t have grey hair, neither do I have mature hair. I have just frizzy, unruly hair. I should read labels more carefully before getting anything next time because, I just gave importance to “treatment capsules” and ignored “FOR MATURE HAIR.” Anyway, since, I bought it, I had to use it at any cost, so here’s the review of treatment capsules on my immature hair (:smug).

MY TAKE ON HAIRX ANTI-AGEING HAIR CAPSULES:

When these capsules were launched around 3 to 4 months ago, there was no proper “how to use” listed on the catalogue. I thought it was a normal hair serum meant to go from root to hair tips. I broke open two capsules and there was this thick serum liquid, which I applied to the root of hairs and all over the hair. It gave an immediate glossy effect and sheen to the hair, but, half an hour later, I ended up with a severe headache and had to take medication and wash it off my hair. I had kept it untouched for a few months until recently in the catalogue, I read the proper “how to use” method. It says, apply from middle of hair to the roots. This time I just broke one capsule and applied it as suggested and this time, I had no headache or anything.

Glancing at the ingredients, I found amino acids, keratin, ceramide, and lots of good things in there, so that justifies the high cost. I am using this as a weekly treatment and I have seen some improvement in hair texture, but nothing “remarkable” or “drastic”, and I am confused as to what to say because I don’t really have any mature hair that needs treatment, but the amino acids and keratin won’t harm my hair either, it’s good for any type of hair; mature or not mature.

PROS OF HAIRX ANTI-AGEING TREATMENT CAPSULES FOR MATURE HAIR:

• Contains amino acids, keratin, hydrolyzed silk, ceramide, and lecithin, there are a whole lot of hair-rich food in there.
• Adds an immediate shine to the hair with glossy appearance.
• Subtle changes in hair texture is visible over a few weeks, but nothing “drastic.”
• Only one or two capsules would be all that is needed to cover medium length hair.

CONS OF HAIRX ANTI-AGEING TREATMENT CAPSULES FOR MATURE HAIR:

• Should not be applied on hair roots, I ended up with a severe headache when I applied it to the hair roots.
• The changes seen in hair are very mild and not something which would justify the price.
• THE PRICE.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN: NO, I will let my hair mature first….smug.

IMBB STAR RATING: 2.5/5……+2.5 for all those ingredients including ceramide, hydrolyzed silk, and amino acids.
