Oriflame is a Sweden based cosmetics company founded 1967. Oriflame believes in direct marketing with no major middle men. Oriflame has a lot of innovative products, and I admire it for that. But certain products simply do not meet the minimum expectations that people have towards the brand. This product is one of them.

My experience with Oriflame

I was into Oriflame a couple years ago when my close friend was an agent. She was young and new to it. So I bought a lot of Oriflame products to meet her quota. Some products were good, some products were bad, but this product is just UGLY !! This product was such a turn off that I have been reluctant to buy anything from Oriflame after using this.

I don’t know what to believe – either someone at my home is playing a practical joke on me by diluting this with water or, Oriflame actually manufactured it to be so runny. But I simply can not believe how runny it is !!! Its consistency is slightly thicker than real milk. Just slightly!!

When I first started using this cleanser, I thought it is very mild but it will work its way up. But as days kept passing by, it became more and more evident that it actually does nothing. Cleansers are supposed to leave the skin squeaky clean and moisturized. But this cleanser does not leave my skin cleansed at all. It does not make a difference whether I use it or not. It looks the same with or without being cleansed with Oriflame milk & honey cleanser.

However, after ranting about this product, I’m not actually impugning this product. In fact, I think it might work wonders for people with dry and \ or sensitive skin, because it leaves the skin very moisturized. But it didn’t work for me at all.

The problem I think, is that it is too mild for my skin. It is so mild that it feels like nothing has been applied. I have no idea whether that’s because I have oily skin, or some other reason.
The bottle does not mention if it is meant for a particular skin type. So it is to be assumed, that it suits all skin types.

My experience with this product has not been good at all, I won’t discourage any one against buying this. But at the same time, experimentation with products must be done. Plus every product works and reacts differently for different people. To each his own.

Why will I purchase Oriflame Milk & Honey 2 in 1 Cleanser again ?

Actual milk + actual honey would be a zillion times better than this cleanser.

  4. raw milk makes such an awesome cleanser. I am also not a fan of super mild cleansers. i like those that can clean my skin really well.

Sad that you had a bad experience with this. :((
