Oriflame Nail Butter Review

Hi everyone, back to writing after a break; I had been to Nagpur for a friend’s wedding. Tt was just wonderful- the venue was just awesome and the occasion of Christmas added that extra joy and happiness to the whole event. Anyways, today I’ll be reviewing this nail butter I had got during my Diwali shopping from Oriflame. Although my nails are good as such, lately they are becoming brittle since I have to keep washing my hands every now and then in the lab. The thing is my nails become very brittle and kind of transparent and yellow due to constant nail-arts I do, and of course because of rigorous washing of hands. So when I brought this nail butter, I thought of experimenting- on my right hand nails I did not apply anything, and on the left hand nails I applied this butter to see whether it really works or not. But let me say I pampered my left hand nails to other products too besides oriflame nail butter stick.

My Take On Oriflame Nail Butter

Constant use of detergents in the lab and nail polish removers causes my cuticles and nails to become dry. It encourages my nails to crack and become brittle so much so that if my nails accidentally happen to rub across my clothes they would chip a teeny weeny bit. I also have a problem of hangnails, it is those small, torn piece of skin near a fingernail caused by dry skin or nail biting. It upset me a lot and hang nail particular caused pain if it is touched even ever so lightly. I hated this because I love my nails and I’m obsessed with them. Since my discomfort was only growing day by day, I happen to come across this nail butter in Oriflame catalogue and decided to give this cream a try.

This nail butter basically comes in the same packaging as the Oriflame lip spa therapy chapstick. It is contained in a sleek white lipstick container and looks kinda chapstick. It also smells like the lip spa therapy chapstick. It is very easily to carry out in our purse and also makes the application of the cream so much easier as it comes in form of lipstick, just apply on your nails and around your cuticles and you’re done. No more mess of applying nail cuticle creams. I also loved the mango scent of the cream which is neither too strong nor too subtle.

This cream, unlike, my Marks & Spencer  nail cream is not very creamy in consistency. It has just the right consistency. Neither too oily nor slippery.  It gets absorbed very easily into the cuticles and the whole thing is very easy and uncluttered. I use this on daily basis before I retiring to bed I apply the cream on my nails and around cuticles and after massaging a bit I find that the cream is easily absorbed into the cuticles and very little is left on the nails.

I do the same for my toe nails and put on socks before sleeping and your done. After using it for quite sometime now, my skin around the nails has definitely improved.  The occurrence of hangnails has reduced to a great extent as the result of moisturization the product provides to the cuticles.

As I said earlier, I applied this balm to my left hand nails only, and now I can observe the difference almost instantly. The balm makes my left hand nails look rather healthy and beautiful. I ll post the pics below for you all to observe.
This cream has played a major role in making my skin around nails smooth and soft. It makes my nails look brighter. Simple and easy to use, this butter which is compact and portable – made it easier to take care of my nails when I was on the move. The exact consistency of this nail balm makes it great even for day-time use. I suggest applying this cream after washing your hands just to provide the extra moisture.

Now earlier I said that I pampered my left hand to other products too – I use to massage baby oil too at night  (Once a week to be precise) into my cuticles and nails. This also helped my nails and cuticle to get that extra kick of moisture.  Now time for some photographic evidence, hehehe

This below is the FRESH pic of my nails on the left hand –

See how healthy they appear.. they are also whiter at the tips.

Now for my nails on the right hand.  Brace yourself gals…

Oriflame Nail Butter Transparent Nails

Look at the tips, they look yellow and do you notice the tips are kind of transparent at the ends —– strange but I dunno my nails tend to become like this when I ignore them … anyways , there is huge difference as u can see … I am glad I got this balm… its high time I need to treat my right hand nails now, so bubye! hehehehehe ( There I go giggling again!)
