It is that time of the year, when I go bonkers and buy a lot of masks and packs because Come summers and I have a skin that is absolutely dull, oily and choked. I feel that my skin is choking and is gasping for air. To add to it the oily/combination skin get dehydrated and the oil only adds to the various skin problems. So when I heard about the Swedish spa earth being launched and read the words Deep cleansing…purifying … detoxifying and softening it drove me crazy and I had to get my hands on this clay mask.

How do I use it? I use the Swedish Spa Purifying Face Mask as directed after I have cleansed and scrubbed my face.
The first time I used it I had a hard time washing it out, it behaved in a weird manner and kept turning into this paste and kept spreading instead of washing out. I had to wash it out with a foaming cleanser. The next week I decided to give the mask another shot and it was worth. This time déjà vu, the same thing, so I used the Oriflame facial sponge to clean it off, but my face still had residue. The residue is like a white cast stuck to your face. The sponge itself has a scrubbing action so I have decided to not scrub my face when I use this mask (it would be too much of scrubbing action for one day).
Pros of Oriflame Swedish Spa Purifying Face Mask:
• It has a very mild smell, so people with acute sense of smell can also go ahead and give it a try.
• Skin looked bright immediately after use, at the brightness increased with every use.
• Hydrating action of the mask is definitely worth mentioning, the dry patches I had on my face have disappeared.
• Did not break me out or irritate my skin
Cons Oriflame Swedish Spa Purifying Face Mask:
• Quite an expensive mask
• The mask leaves a white layer on your face which does not wash off with water.
• It hasn’t changed or improved the skin condition after 4 weeks of use I really did not see drastic detoxified or purified effect
• Contains Parabens
Will I repurchase? No! I will not repurchase this because my normal homemade face pack which contains chickpea flour /Fuller’s earth turmeric and curd/milk does a better job than this. I’m more disappointed because I had high expectations from this pack. I’m not sure whether the reason I did not see a difference was because I was not using the serum, but then again the pack should have made some difference with all the jazzy ingredients like Kaolin, Malachite and Hydracare+.
